nah, that's fine, I'm just kind of happy that it looks so good in that engine bay

Are you going to track your car at all? would be nice to see it in the 1/4 mile
Its definitely fun you burn up tires though lol. Its great to go out and race your car legally itll make you learn the limits of you and your car. If reliability isnt a issue i would run it so often. I race my car every one in a while but pay attention to maintenance.
I understand. I need to upgrade tires and brakes before I do any track sessions
Just pick this up from the machine shop. 25 bucks.

Looks like a wideband display like a JAW or something.

looks like solid mounts for the suspension..... rear if i had to guess
custom front lateral control arm 'stiffers'...since the front lateral arms are new and didn't want to press/torch the bushings out, I have those made. Hardly any movements.
The little device...ZEX Nitrous/Traction RPM switch.

My Coil on Plug setup. I'll write up a How-To soon.
dude looks good
Interesting my GS came with a nice looking coil on plug I'm ditching. I personally don't like COP
I'd love to try this one if I had the time. Seems right up your alley.

what is the purpose of using the MR2 PS system?
Also, past 1000Hz

Some weight reduction

Its electric.
So you get to take the power steering pump off the rotating assembly. Less belts, less parasitic loss, cleaner engine bay, more room to work, quicker service procedure.
Its basically all the win of having a manual steering rack without having to give a battle cry to parallel park.
Also, I imagine there will be a direct benefit to gas mileage without the engine constantly pumping hydraulic fluid.
also, i would have left the trunk carpet in and the rear bench, but removed the rear folding seat back. The bench weighs all of a 2lbs. but the seat back probably weighs close to 30 with all the steel in it.
hmm, would that be able to be used on a v6 8g?
you still interested in the CMF header? let me know
Well, got the currect motor running a bit better, feels peppy with the balance shaft gone. Idles a little rough because I went from 10.6:1 to 10.1:1 cr but pulls harder from 4.5K
You loward your CR by doing what? changing heads?
Update: Been over a month, and this engine runs excellent. Looking forward for the spring for some changes to the car.
Good shit bro. Keep us posted. Soon i will be doing some changes to my engine. So far im tuning and testing the new big map for the i4 and all could say is dam. Lol. Good progress on the rom. Trying to reduce the knock im about 90% done. I will post a few video pulls.
Keep up updated man. Today was almost 60 degrees and it made me want to take the galant out for a spin. Even at 60* my max perf summer tires don't provide a lot of fun.
Can't wait to see what 2012 brings for your GS!
Well, I remove 90% of the AC system. The only things are left is the ECU for the AC and core. As far as weight reduction goes: No radio & CD player, dash & front speakers, trunk carpet, and cruise control system including the ECU. Next will be the seats(front and rear), remove spoiler, relocate battery to trunk, and hood.
Some interior activities.

Need to ditch those seatbelts. thats at least 6 lbs with the cam lock reels and all.
Also, the stock GS seats are heavy. You need to track down some evo recaros.
