No prob man! ^
Alright! Went to the dyno today and found out several things about the car.
-To hell with electronic boost gauges when at elevation
-Tumbler is a lot lighter than I thought
-A lot of shops around these parts put in a SKY HIGH correction factor to keep people coming back
Sorry I didnt get video as I was running the dyno from inside the car and tuning. Spd_frk and I found an awesome dyno with a very honest owner who wasnt interested in pumping up peoples ego's but sold the validity of his dynojet. It reads from a weather station on the top of the building at the time of the run for maximum accuracy. After the test I've got to say I believe him as I know mustang dyno's that make exorbitant numbers just to have my lower reading car walk them LOL. I always wondered how that happened. Now I know.
So since I'm at elevation the electronic sensor in the old boost gauge was giving a false reading. I'm already in the process to switching to a mechanical boost gauge. I thought I was running 15lbs. I was only running 12 LOL!
So I immediately knew there was nooooo way I was at 300 whp and decided to see how close I could get on 12 lbs.

The dyno had two O2 sensors go bad HAHA. I'm running 11.5-11.8 afr. After I took it home I pulled the external wastegate and put in the heavier spring. This should land me in the 15-17 psi range and get me to that 300 mark.
So I took the final log home and plugged it into virtual dyno to see what I got.

I need to get my car on a scale to confirm that weight. Thats hard to believe the car weighs that little with me in it! Crashbar, stock exhaust, rear seats, carpet, some molding, sound deadening removal really cuts down the weight that much?! only one way to tell.
This dynojet reads like the comparative mustang dyno around the USA! This is one of the newest software models and has a 3500lb roller. Dynojet got sick of all the varying numbers with their product and locked it down so it reads like a Mustang (heartbreak dyno). Its only a heartbreak cause its not inflated and giving you correct numbers LOL! Apparently with virtual dyno when you are at elevation you should never need to use custom correction factors or sae correction.
I'm pretty stoked with the numbers and my tuning though. For 12 lbs 255 is legit on a "heartbreaker" *laugh* and the auto tranny. I learned a lot about the local dynos today as well.
Sick you got some dyno time and found a place you can trust..still nice numbers
Yep! I rather have legit numbers than inflated ones and get passed up by a car making less than me haha. Either way; the power to weight is ridiculous when boost hits. :)
It looked like it in your video too lol...moving
*nod nod*
It pulls harder now than it did then.
Look at the gains I made from my first run to my final run. LOL

Nice..so with the new wg spring is it back to more tuning?
Yep! My ignition and fuel are pretty stout though I'm sure it won't be for than a few tweaks and I'm done
holy hell was looking through some older pics........

You sir need a rubber lip on the front, epic wheels and a tint strip on the windscreen.
I want this automobile.
I love it!
dude, the car is a completely different car. Such a monster. So menacing.
So where do you think 17 will place you at power wise?
Thanks bro! I freaking love it!
I was guessing around 305-310.
I was looking at logs and threw them into Evoscan 2.8 and was surprised. I was blown away at the accuracy.
This is the run I did on the dyno.

Now I was inspired to see what it would tell me about my car now. Went out and did a 3rd gear pull (screw you auto tranny)

as you can see.... I maxed out the airflow in hz across the whole powerband at 1600HZ LOL, 89% Idc (Time to get bigger injectors), and 270 load. I knew the car felt faster but damn. Its aaaaaallll top end now. We'll see when I get back to the dyno, what the dyno says.
So this was the first time I used braided stainless line for my return line and ugh I hate that stuff as well as cheap -AN fittings. Damn thing kept leaking. Said eff it after tephlon taping and rtv'ing stuff I shouldn't have to. Got some legit AN fittings and braided nylon push loc line(what I usually use) from fragola and installed that bish today at my buddies. Ahhhh soo much better.

I wanna replace every line on the car with this stuff. I recommend www.racepartsolutions.com and here's a 10% off coupon I found "0001" at checkout.
What return line are you talking about?
Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
Return line from the turbo to the oil pan.
are you running -10AN or -8AN for the return line?
-10 AN lol
looks smaller in the picture?
