what about trying the intercooler from the VR4 itself? i think they're a bit thin... also... if you put in the intercooler, don't you have to remount the Power steering oil cooler elsewhere?[/img]

I think that it could be made to work with the intercooler. If the back has to be cut out, wouldn't the intercooler hide it? I just don't understand why it can't be customized to work with the intercooler.Quote:

hmmmmm
It can be done because I am going to do it. Does this modded bumper support come with hte bumper? Im a bit confused
the intercooler CAN be done, however, the bottom of the bumper will be like 1" deep if you cut it up like you'll have to. it's literally right up against the radiator
I can see what you are saying Peano. I am pretty sure a I/C can be put in there.....careful cutting it should fit snuggly in there. The new bumper support is similar to the OEM right...just cut height wise to accomodate the larger mouth of the new front and eliminated front turn signals. If so....you may just need to modify the new bumper support for the upper intercooler portion and just cut what needs to be cut on the bottom to fit the lower portion of the I/C. I think it can be done...it has to be done, I am going to be running a pretty big I/C.
ONE thing i didnt like is that i thought we were gonna be able to get a C/F lip? what happend with that? :?
<span style='font-size:30pt;line-height:100%'>DAMN</span>
the bumper support is cut height and depth wise. you will be able to fit a front mount in there, but it's gonna take some careful careful cutting. a lot of trial and error probably too.Quote:

Just curious.
mic is gonna get OEM fenders and cut them in respect to the markings made on mine. we're gonna swap them out when he's done. but remember, it's just gonna be one vent, the top big one, the bottom one won't be there.Quote:

mayb its just the camera angle but does the right side of the bumper flare out more than the left?
Sorry to take this off topic fellas.
Blue Ice, everytime I am searching this site, my daughter (2 1/2) goes crazy when she sees your picture of the baby shaking it's booty. "Baby, shake your booty" she cries over and over until I stay on one of your posts so she can watch it. It's to the point that everytime I sit down at the computer she cries for it, and won't stop until I pull it up. I had to print her out a picture so she can carry it around with her. So, please don't change your avatar unless you want to break a little girl's heart.
Sorry again to take this off topic...just thought I would share. Thanks.
Hey peano do you think he can make the vnet look a little more like the vrnt on the side of the front bumper, that way it kind of flows better with the kit
and hello little one

yeah, i'll run it by him, see if he'll do it.
So your bumper is done, does that mean the mold is done? I want my bumper! 8)
Front bumper looks hot. I'm guessing Seth will be the first one to test fit a FMIC, so be sure to let everyone know how it fits. https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...ault/smile.gif
ok, now we have an issue to discuss: front turn signals.
i'm really sick of dealing with my housings, and if i even have to touch them in the next year, i'm going to kill the closest living thing, so let's not talk about that. right now i just zip tied my front turn signals bulbs to the top of each of the big air ducts on each side where an FMIC would be, and it looks ghetto.
i'm thinking of getting these:

and putting them on the top part of the front air ducts on both sides of the bumper, but it might look a little bit ghetto, but our choices are pretty slim pickins. ideas?
edit: these look less ghetto: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/motostrano/acuntusi.html
Can't the corner light on the headlight assembly be wired as turn signals. Those amber trailer lights are gonna look like ass, in my opinion. But then again, I don't have any other suggestions, so what do I know...
