I finally got my 5 speed in, yay. It feels so good to finally get it in. I know very little about cars and I work in a grocery store so I had no idea what I was doing and I did 95% of the labor. HUGE shout out to spdracr, QnzMostWanted, Silvertune, and Guzm4n for helping me out. I need to replace atleast one o-ring in my coolant system and then I can start it and drive it.

Good to know you were able to put it in. I remember how much of PITA it was trying to put it in while lifting the tranny from the ground.

Taped up my stock intake for the second time to stop the vacuum leak where the resonator used to be, this time used a half roll of electrical tape. I need an intake, this shit works but it's janky as hell and it doesn't last very long, a few months at best:

I was getting ready to PM you when I couldn't get the trans in but i found the secret for the V6 swap: have the engine on a cherry picker with the passeger mount removed but put a nut and big washer on one of the passenger engine mount studs and with a ratcheting strap connected to that mount and to the top of the chain on the cherry picker and ratchet until the engine is diagonal enough to put the trans in.Quote:
