x2!
Just curious, why not go with a retro fit on a set of JDM heads? You can keep your grille, just needs to be trimmed a little bit.

Eh i like the us heads. Call me weird but it is what it is.
Leaving for the honeymoon in the morning. The initial plan was to take the Galant on a roadtrip with my wife before it gets painted. But just my luck something yet again has ruined our plans. I went to fix the blown CV axle and inner tie-rods at work earlier today and as I was aligning the car back to spec the right rear eccentric bolt for the Lateral arm snapped. It was pretty seized and would NOT budge. I got it loose but as soon as I went to go tighten it back up it snapped. So BabyG will sit in the garage for a week and we're taking the MZ3. Atleast we will be in the comforts of power steering and air conditioning on this trip. lol
DAMN northern cars. I already ordered the bolt and plate from oemmitsubishiparts.com and it should be waiting for me to get it on the Galant when I get home. Thank God I have access to a lift and an alignment rack!
Sorry to hear..enjoy the honeymoon none the less
Fixed the car. Had to replace the right rear lateral arm and eccentric bolts. mangled the subframe in the process, but I got it done and it aligns back to spec!
Sittin' at work

Bought my very own fender roller so I am going to roll it some more so I can have passengers in the back. lol
careful if you roll or pull the front it will seperate the fender from the door and there will be a gap.

HUGE GINORMOUS UPDATE at the end of the month.
i feel you bro, i had bootleg recaro speeds from ebay a while back with some wedge brackets that i had to modify heavily to get the seat to sit low enough but it was perfect in the end but got rid of them in cause i needed the money and put back the stockers.
curious if you had to modify the seat brackets at all to make it sit right were you wanted it, the only i thing dont like about fixed back seats in a daily driver is
#1 you cant recline them when your in lazy mode or just chillin in the parking lot waiting for your wife to come out the store
#2 the stock seat belt usually gets threaded through the belt hole and the buckle side looks like it would be difficult to clip in or sometimes people lay the belt over the top edges which doesnt seem safe to me but people do it all the time.
I ended up cutting two studs out of the left side rail and three on the right side. I ended up having to mount the right side bracket low and the left side medium to get it level. I drive without the padding so it sits perfect for me. As far as the buckle it would NOT fit at all so I actually bent it back so it points away from the seat and I bolted it to the seat with the bracket bolts. It works great and I love the way it makes my driving feel. I'm going to get a 4-point and a harness eventually but for now it works.
Looks good to me. I've never been a "Brand name" fanatic like some others. As long as its structurally sound and safely mounted, then by all means IMO.
Big things popping. Repairing the rust on the bottom of the doors and replacing the passenger side. Paint goes down on Saturday.

does anyone know how the roof channel is supposed to come out. I dont want to break the clips.
awesome!!
You have to slide it foward and gently pop the channel off of the tabs. The tabs may may not come out with the channel if they don't just slowly slide them foward and wedge them up using a plastic door trim remover. There are some tabs along the front windshield that don't come off.
Sweet! You taking it to a shop or doing it yourself in the garage?
The tabs are most likely rotted aol they might break. U might have to buy few of them
Buy new tabs, I tried to save mine and was successful on one clip. Mine were dried out and just crumbled.
wow i feel horrible for you guys i only lost 2 tabs from the black g and 4 from the grey.......no you cant hhave my spares they are my precious......
can you buy tabs seperate?
I believe so. If u shoot me a reminder tomorrow I can look in the ASA and get u a part number for them.
