I think edmunds said the MR is slightly slower because of all the nicer features like better acoustics and everything that add to the total weight
I'll check again though
i hate how mitsubishis have huge wheel wells, those 18's look so small on that car it makes it look bad, same with our cars, you have to go with 17's or or larger just to somewhat fill the wheel well without lowering it to the ground
acually it was available like 2 weeks ago my friend bought it right when it arrived its at aem getting it hooked up 4b11 motor but the turbo was smaller of the evo 8 but its tight but dont like the back endQuote:

i went looked at EVO's today, the ones here dont have any markup whatsoever
no mark up? so how much are they asking
damnit Matt go buy that Evo!!! :)
White with gold wheels is so fuckin sexy!!
I am waiting for the MR, after reading the review of it on EvoM.
Did you also read their review of the GSR? I'm definitely getting the GSR just because the transmission is stronger.
Getting a good price of a Evo X is hit or miss it looks like...more like a miss though. I have seen people that bought their X's already paying 40k and that just a regular GSR with the Aero package. Thats a bit much...I rather wait to be a 2nd owner of a Evo X and buy it with the depreciated price. Some are getting a bit over dealer invoice, but those dealers are probably high volume mitsu dealers that want to move alot of cars and get Mitsu dealer incentives at the end of the month, compared to low volume dealers that dont sell alot and need to make up for it on the bottom end.
The GSW 5 speed tranny is said to be a stronger and beefed up Evo IX tranny which was already and strong tranny. Several people are stating that is shifting is notchy especially on 2nd gear on low rpms but not a issue on the higher rpms. Much like the higher performance cars that are manuals...they suffer from the same issue with their beefed up trannies. No one has taken apart a Evo X tranny yet..but from sources from Mitsu that was gathered and posted, they claim the Evo X 5 speed gear box is a "Stronger Improvement" from the previous generation. Who knows...its too early as its hasn't been exposed to real world drivers and conditions.
I am liking what I seeing and reading on reviews from owners and power potential from shops that have already started working their magic on the new 4B11t. AMS has been hard at work on their Evo X, making tons of parts for it with just owning for a short time.

hmm white one looks good!
them ams boys waste no time, prob pay that car off with few goodies they make
Good thing the AYC creates a perfect steering balance (no understeer or oversteer) or else that rear swaybar would be way too small. First shots I've seen of the underside of the car. Neat stuff.
thats what happends when you got it like that!
I'm loving the white w/ gold rims alot.
