I have other tubing and that's it for now.
looks good man thumbs up
I would say the only thing that confuses me is that you have the knock sensor coming through the fire wall and than into the connector that connected to the ECU but its not connected to the engine wiring harness itself. Is this correct? Im just trying to figure out where you got that extra green wire or where did you pull that out from. All of mine are connected...so what I am trying to figure out; should I just tap that red knock sensor wire into Pin 78 green wire even though its connected to the engine wiring harness?
Lol what I did was just kinda guessing because I couldn't find anything about how to connect the knock sensor.............I might be doing it the wrong way so if somebody knows a better way to do it let me know.
What I did was cut the green wire that goes from the stock wiring harness to the ecu.......I just checked that the wire I was cutting was from slot 78 coming from the ecu. From there the green wire that was coming from the ecu I just connected the wire from the knock sensor. The other green wire that is loose is coming from the wiring harness that the car has but I believe that I checked it that slot and it was empty. So now I ran through the code thing and the knock sensor code if off. So either I did I did it right or something else is happening lol.
I do have other codes on but they relate to the egr, fuel and i think the turbo solenoid.
Wow great build man!! Props to you.. Nice choice on all the performance parts your going with and great work all around!
I installed my knock sensor with my evo ecu acouple weeks ago. I put the knock sensor in the location of the pic that Stewi posted earlier and grounded it to one of the spots on the block(Made sure this was clean). Then traveled the red wire through the firewall into the correct pin on the ecu.
So it sounds like I did the same thing just the red wire was too short for me thats why I extended it with a black wire.............that's why in the picture it looks like I ran the black wire through the firewall but it was just the red........i'll post some pictures on where exactly it is in the firewall.
Alright well here's a few pictures on where I drilled the hole at........I know I took awhile to get back at you but here it is
This is where the hole ended up at

Hope this helps
Also another update my oil lines came in today and I just ordered the 1000cc injectors the brand is injectors dynamics hope those are good :)
^ Same injectors im running.. If i get my g up and going before you ill let you know how they are. Later on im gonna do a double pump system with bigger injectors.
Yeah deff thanx for the pix man
Cool cool well they should arrive this week with my new Walbro 255LPH Fuel Pump that I just ordered so hopefully by the end of next month i'll have everything ready for the turbo to be put on but if you beat me let me know lol
No problem
^Lol Will do.. Great job man
Look what just arrived..............think I am done getting parts for the turbo just need to install everything hopefully by the end of the month.

cut the rpm wire that goes to the ecu problem solved, the evo8 ecu tach is an output signal, on the galant ecu its an input (pretty sure) so you have 2 outputs on 1 wire how I figured it
evo8 ecu tach Output >>-----------------<<galant speedometer tach output
let me know if this works for you,
Pin 58 from the ecu (Tach Signal (Output)) and I'm pretty sure the 8g reads the tach signal as an input to switch gears for the auto transmission
