nah when i did my setup i had to remove the fan too but you can just put a slim fan on the outside set to reverse and youll have no problems at all and either way the fan that goes in that spot is the a/c one anyways.

looks like fun. I'm glad to see this finally coming together.
HAHA yeah about that.lol I mean everything started to come together and nothing is rubbing on each other but than again everything is so close to each other, its hard to fit the other racing fan I have where the turbo is and also where the upper coolant hose goes...its so close to the waste gate dump. Once everything is pretty much together Im sure we will figure out something to make it work...theirs always another way.lol
Yeah we were thinking of putting the fan where the turbo is on the other side but first we gatta see if the slim fan will really fit. Thanx for letting me know.
Thanx alot buddy, trust me...me too. Its been to long that iv waited.lol :023:
hey what is that for and nice builtQuote:
oh nice yeah because a lots evo got that around here in the place were you can see it
Also guys I failed to let everyone know Im going to have a few parts for sale if anybody is interested. Right now I have a v6 TB and a Prothane motor mount and I believe is a tranny mount. Both of these are up for sale and will have pictures up later, and I promise both items are in Mint condition.
Let me know if you guys have any questions
Also figured out my little problem with the radiator fans...I have decided to keep the Evo 8 Radiator and get Jegs S radiator fan that puts out either 1950 CFM or the 2200 CFM, and for now that should do the trick.
Everything is coming along great keep it up. Wish I had an I4 to turbo lol.
Thanks alot buddy, right now working on 5 speed, and trying to get out the auto cables which is a bitch here and there but almost done. Today I should get the shifter in and clutch pedal in, and the only next step we have to do is wiring everything up and start her up. :spinner:
You have a v6?
Looking good man. I guess I won't be seeing this at mod?
For the auto/manual cable removal. You should try to find a set of ratchet wrenches with a swivel head. It has done wonders for me. I've changed my cables twice now.
Here some more shots TGC members... update on everything. Well got the down pipe made and looks HOOOTTTT!!! and got all the wiring done with the resistor and HKS, gauges are wired up and working and ECU is in. Also guess what guyssssss 5 speed bitches haha...finaly and everything looks awesome and feels great. Just finishing up some wiring touches here and there. Well guys just getting the last touches in and than this week we start the car. Well enough me talking here are the pictures :033:

The End
Soon after when everything will be put back together and next week I will be doing rear disk swap and videos of the car starting and running.
man that's a lot to do at once! lol
side note: You got the AEM wideband hooked up? I have no idea how to hook this thing up lol. It's not even with me right now. I left it at home since I figured I wouldn't have time to do it in school
HAHA yeah took all day to get everything hooked up and by Thursday or Friday we should be able to crank her up.
The AEM wideband was hooked up by my friend but I can ask him how he did that since he was the one welding and doing the wiring for the wideband. I will get back to you about that asap.
Also does anybody know what wire is what on the MAF connector??? Tonight I wanna be able to finish up the MAFT but need to know the MAF wiring in the connector.
Personally i think it is a horrible idea to start this car up first time using a maft. Thats something you should have added after you actually started up the motor. Its tricky to tune with that thing.
This is coming from experience. leave it in there and get an 8g maf for the time being.
Cheese n Rice!!!!! lol You been busy dude. lol Sucks she won't be ready for MOD:(
Once again great work its coming along nicely
