This thread is about lip kits from other cars but the only one I know of is the Super VR4 lip kit which is extremely rare now. I'm still looking for one.

where in the world can i buy that vrg lip?
g'day all,
i own a 8g vr4 series 1,
and am searchin for a lip or something like an extension to go under the bumper (maybe like the 07 sti lips)
has anyone here done such a thing to the vr4 bumper? i know a lot of you blokes put lips on your stocko bumpers
ummm the super vr4 lip or vogue lip i don't know which fits what but i know those lips are for the VR4.......talk to Cali he makes replicas.........
Super VR-4 lips are for the pre-facelift VR-4. The Vogue lip is for the facelift VR-4
yeah i know the super lip, some of the fellas here in aust actually own super's lol
i meant like intergra lips or the rubber ones
well for us over here, the VR-4 bumper alone is hard enough to get, so we're not gonna ruin it with a lip for another car :)
I have a lip that should be arriving soon, it's my mystery lip although I"m pretty sure I figured out what car it came from, I'll post pics when I get it back
hahaha i hear ya mate, USA really dipped out of that one
i was thinkin something similar to a nismo r34 gtr lower bumper lip

So Greddy, what do you think the lip came off of? I love it and would love to see how it looks on a 2002.
greddy i would love to see how it looks on my car! lol
Or I would like to see that home depot lip but probably made out of CF. I think that would be awesome.
if a lip fits an ek would it fit our cars?
ok so how much is an OK price for an extension for the 02-03 G mugen lip? I kinda dnt want it painted but then if i dnt itll look hella ugly wit the extra added 2 it rite?
is there a specific seller to look for when buying an ebay mugen style lip? (so shipping isn't more than the lip itself)
$70-80 bucks are the best deals i've seen. Just keep looking.
hey wats up im lookin for a lip kit for my 02 galant.i want front, rear, and the sides.
Ebay dude...
Since I have an 02 I was looking on a whay to not use fiberglass to extend my front lip, keeping it flexible you know, doing a search on internet I get on to this: http://www.emisupply.com/catalog/nor...ml-p-2242.html
I was thinking on get the plastic black garden fender from Home depot and glue it to have a nice smooth and flexible part. No one knows, does anyone have worked with this?
will this lip work
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/94-97...item3ef736ccd4
fill it in with what and how
bondo, sanding, and some fiberglass work to answer your question.
ok thanks
I'm new to the site and was reading all the different lips out there. What is the best lip that will fit an 02 Galant with a stock bumper with the least modifications? Please name a few for me...
M.G.
This has been answered time and time again. You can get the Mugen lip and EXTEND it. There IS a guide, but I would rather YOU search for it instead of me taking the time and doing the work for you.
Also, you COULD get a bumper and grill from a 99-01 and get a Mugen lip and shorten it. Quite a bit easier on work towards the lip.
On a random and OT note, I've nearly been on TGC for a year lol.
I do miss the GalantForums though..
Thanks, I will look into that one...
has anyone ever tried the Integra "Spoon" lip?
http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/pts/1934111573.html
I'm thinking about trying this
It's a cross between a mugen and a type r lip so yeah it looks doable
EDIT: since we lost the Type R lip pics here's a recent project from me:

yeah I'm thinking about going for it. I don't quite like the shape of the mugen lip, but I really like the Type-R lip. Type-R lip with mugen holes = win for me
I went ahead and bought that "Spoon" style lip for $60. I'll try to install it when I get back home.. though I don't have a heat gun. I guess a hairdryer might work?
hair dryer is too weak it has to be around 175+ degrees minimum to soften abs
I HATE Spoon parts...
