A dream lens...a non working one of these sells for 3000 im sure a working one must be nuts price wise.
Discontinued 50mm 1.0/L Canon EF lens with AF. I gotta find me someone who has this from when it was made and doesn't know what its worth. I would probably leave it at home on a photo day and save it for shoots.

niceee, i just got my 50 in the mail yesterday, havent had a chance to shoot any cars or go exploring with it yet
First shot with the 50d. I will have to go through the settings, as the noise performance seems WORSE then my 3 year old XT! Maybe I am just crazy(I hope!).

I disabled the Auto Lighting Optimizer, High ISO speed noise red, and Highlight tone priority and it helped some. This is the last APS-C sensor camera for me. From here on out I am going full frame.
