yeah they all rusted so I had to restore them. I also got rid of the passenger side door because my original one had a dent that we couldn't fix. I also painted the jambs black because the color I am painting the car will look half assed if I kept the jambs silver.
YAY but not yay im not the only one swapping doors and painting the car this month...now if youd move to ny so we could do it together then that would make everything ok...........

The trunk was a major PITA when we were blocking but came out decently smooth. We got the car prepped, primed, painted, and cleared in two days. We werent in a climate controlled booth just a couple of tarps in a big barn. Came out awesome considering all those variables. BabyG has Never been a showcar and she never will be so we made due with what we have and the results is better than I have ever imagined. She is now ready to tear it up and look good doing it.
Just to spite you all I kept the radiator support silver!!!! Muahahahaha.
Just to add, we took care of all the rusty areas on the exterior and lined up the front end properly.
Looks good so use to seeing your car silver now I'm curious to see how it looks in blue once all together
If only I have access to a garage I would paint the car myself.
