Put together some H4 adapters for the HIDs. They originally only came with pins to slip into the stock harness. I hated that

That looks good man
Yeah, looks like you bought it from somewhere:thumb_rsvd:
ea Chicago that looks top notch. I finally got to wash my car:bouncing: So much salt due to snow you would think they were trying to season the road. It was only a spray and go (wiped dry somewhere else), my hose at home is always frozen, and trying to find a empty car wash on my off days has been a struggle lol. Needless to say since I'm not a student, I hate snow. I used some spray wax for a temporary shield lol.

uhoh!! any damage??
Leak down test passed on all cylinders.
Put a new t-belt on and the car is ticking bad... anyone have any thoughts, the roller rocker assemblies were removed to relieve the vavles so they would all be closed for the test. Then they were re-assembled after the belt was on with the cam timed correctly and torqued to 25ft lbs.
Anyone with experience please drop off 2 cents, im kind of lost. The car starts up idles and reves up no problem but tick very loudly, sounds very dry.

:(
DOHC time.
does the ticking go with rpm? maybe a rocker fell off? did you bleed the lifters? maybe you have some lifter tick.
I'm gonna follow the FSM and bleed them, I'm certain all the parts are together. That I'll update on later.
What I don't get is why did I get it after rocker arm R&R cuz it never ticked before? Is it because I removed them that the lifters drained and went dry? The other thing I don't get is why is it tractor freaken loud, its crazy loud.
Dang, I know thats gotta be irritating. Wish I had some answers or suggestions but I don't, but good luck on getting it fixed. Wonder if MMO would help?
I also had the water pump pulley rub on the timing cover, and it was all wobbly bobby like, it sounded like a tractor lol. If you removed the rockers, you should always bleed the lifters IMO, saves alot of hassle and possibly bend valves.
Well as soon as I'm out of work I'm gonna go try it out, I'll make sure to get sound first
silly, but make sure you put the lifters in right side up when you put them back in, I have made that mistake before :(
