all youve got is a 3'" downpipe, 3" exhaust piping to the muffler and a magnaflow? any resonators or cats? that sounds really good, almost too good if you ask me.
Sounds great, Where exactly is the muffler, in the straight section before the gas tank? Do you know the diameter of it 6" or 7"?
sounds great.
Yeah, 3 inch DC downpipe which bolts right in, just needed some custom hangers on the back portion, 3 in mandrel bent piping and a small magnaflow tucked up high with a y pipe for my two tips. Entire exhaust has been ceramic coated as well.
The muffler is in the same area as the stock one would be but tucked higher and moved back to accomodate the y pipe and the dual tips. Really pretty simple guys.
The nice thing about the DC downpipe is that it is much longer than a stock evo downpipe, it actually incorporates a test pipe in it and comes with multiple O2 bungs.
It actually sounds like a Sirius motor unless the rest of the SOHC crap you hear. Sounds great.
Put some RPW 272 in the SOHC and see how it sounds LOL. For the few sec my motor was idling the SOHC sounded pretty good. :bouncing: Cant wait to rev that bitch.
Greddy muffler sounds good.
GReddy SE is gone sadly, as much as I loved having a "JDM" exhaust on my car, it had to go, was too quiet and too restrictive, although fortunately it was sold to another galant owner so all is well. Thanks for the kind words guys, I was trying to achieve an exhaust with great flow and sound but still be daily driveable. I drive 80 miles a day at minimum and a lot of it is on the freeway so I'm very pleased with the complete and utter lack of drone and rasp.
I wanted to run an exhaust like that. Never got a chance, staggered tips. But probably burnt TI coloring.
^yeah, I went back and forth about getting blingy tips, but then decided to just ceramic coat the thing. Might switch it up down the road who knows.
I would just leave a tad bit of the tip polished and burnt. The rest ceramic
I can always go back and polish the tips down the road, we shall see.
