So it's having a ground problem thru out the whole engine harness, still no stop lights, now the headlights stopped working, the horn goes off on its own, the fuel gauge isnt working, and the left turn signal is always on............thats a nice little list of things to fix.
-
nice bumper. that damn ground issue seems to be a headache.
-
God man been so focused on the green G I forgot how good the red looks haha. You have no Idea how incredibly jealous I am. Looking forward to seeing some more updates!!
... also if you ever HAVE to to just want to get rid of some of them parts.... I'll be the first to pick up anything and everything you have, God forbid anything to happen to those beutiful 7g's though

unffff car sounds LEGIT!
hmmm that electrical problem sounds like fun :(
sure the harness was in good condition and there arent any broken wires?
-
Yeah harness was stock and unhacked when i pulled it out and started working on it. hopefully i'll fix it in no time.
-
MKO. You doing Great. Keep it up. Hope i could see it at MOD. I will recommend to get some type of IAC, dont know much about the old ECU how they handle cold start. I'm saying at cold start you need 2K rpm so it could get you some fuel and help warm up the engine. This helps vent the crank case better. Is for a reason some car idle high at cold start.

You are missing a grounding point. What harness are you using again?
-
Thanks for the advices guys!
its the stock GS harness and stock ECU/SAFC for now just to get it running.
Nick, jump in and save me from the fuel sending unit wiring nightmare!
-
I kept pretty good notes on all my wiring including the two sensor tank rewire and the gauge is spot on . Let me know if you need any of that.
-
yes sir, please do share.
-
I spliced the wires between the plug at door threshold and before it drops to tank.

I lost my notes so I just quickly pulled up the seat to check I abandoned the 3 press sensor wires and grey/red, yellow red, grey/blue and large yellow blue.

im pretty sure i wired it the same way , but i only put 10 bucks worth of 93 octane in there. Or maybe the ground wire isnt doing its job since i have the ground problem.
Thanks bud. I'll investigate more.
-
SO I found the ground problem - the ECU has 3 fried circuits. I'll attempt to repair it tonight and hopefully it will be running right next time I go over to the garage.
