All done but think it might be wrong. Kit the wife and THATFRESHKID got is mini h1 6.0. What do you all think, can this kit be used? Thanks in advance.
It's the right kit "yells in head , shut up ! "
I used the minis and loved them. To this day I wanna gey my retrofit setup back together.
I chose to black out everything for that sleek look.

Dang, wrong harness for my retrofit.. smh..
Post what you got I'll help you make it work.
They (meaning wife and kid) ordered the 9006 so I have no hi beam, im needing the h4/9003.Talk to Carlos at the retrofit source and he set me up with the correct one and all I have to do is send him the incorrect one and we good. You have a way to make this one work?

If you need detail wiring I would have to take some pictures when I get home tonight
You should not run 50/55W bulbs in the Mini H1 - you will burn your projector bowls.
Besides, you have enough room to fit the slightly bigger, slightly more expensive, but vastly better Mini D2S projectors and get some serious lighting performance.
I built a set for ShizNith using these projectors, and he's very impressed with the performance.
I also built a quad bixenon set for another friend using JDM style Depo projectors as a base. I did the build with the Mini D2S and EvoX-R bixenon projectors, all from TRS, and the combined output of these is just staggering. He's running Philips 85122 35W D2S bulbs with Fast Bright F3 (35W) ballasts.
If im not mistaking i do believe they 35w bulb with the 35w ballast. Have to double check.
If you got the whole kit, then you will have 35W bulbs and 35W ballasts.
My previous post was for the complete, retrofitted headlights a bit further up.
Yea bro I would have to see the harness ends. If your set on exchanging them by all means, just know that harnesses are all the same collection of wires and relays, they just put your stock connector at the tip for simplification. But if you dont have a probelm with a little cutting and sodering it'll work.
Before the Mini D2S 3.0 came out, that was true. The MD2S 2.0 was not a good projector. It had tragic low beam but a fairly decent highbeam, but v3.0 is based on a design that actually works (the Q5/Q5-R projector, which in turn is based off of Hella G3, which is a very good projector).
Give it a try if you have the chance, it's near OEM performance in terms of width, reach and highbeam. It will however benefit from a moderate foreground limiter.
I dont mind modifying the harness i have. The issue im having is no high beam.. No matter what wires I cross or connectors I change still no high beam. So that's when it dawned on me that the harness with the realy is not allow the motor to flip the thingy( lol) in the projector to work properly. Just a guess though..
Here is the harness

Connect the solenoid wires driectly to thestock high beam and ground wires.
So if I connect the oem connector to my high beam and ground thar should work? I think I tried that but will do it again.
