Yeah. I was thinking about that. I will do a leak test and see how much it leaks out. But i will take ur advice to find a way to rebuilt it.
About the maf is very minimal getting un-meter air thru the can. I have 1200cc injectors im sure i will run on the rich side, if it gets air not calculated by the maf, extravair is good since it will lean out the mixture a bit. Nothing a tune and some logs would fix.
Doing this setup
1. to keep the oil and hot gases going back or getting mix on the mani avoiding a lot of pro later.
2. By deleting the pvc "restricted oem pvc" and have a flowing track it will flow out the gases better from the crank specially with psi above 20 and hot cam. I could always change it later.
As I said like 15 comments before you need a spacer for that TB/IM combo and Mil Spec seals work on the 74 tb its a little tight of a fit but just need to press them in ;)
^why spacers? I used the tb on my stock setup with no pro.
You will find that being boosted is a very different story, you don't get away with anything. If stuff isn't sealed up TIGHT you WILL leak and leak always. Tuning around it is often possible, but you just lose power and put more wear on the setup and end up with a filthy engine bay.
^thanks. Yeah i understand. Until i get some boost and see what i need to re-adjust i cant adjust now.
Fix things that a guaranteed to leak now... That shit ain't a joke

^thanks. Like i said need to start the car first. And sit the rings. This tb will hold just fine until the break in. Ones i get it running i take the time to get better seals for the tb. Right now im behind dont have the time to patch or fix the tb. I will do a boost test leak and see how much it will hold
Before you even attempt starting the car I would highly recommend putting a BLT on the turbo and pumping it up 35 psi. Track down every single leak before you start. Makes like a million times easier.
Yeah bro. I have the leak test tools to do it ones i get everything in place. Also for the AN Fittings.
Take your time bro but w/o a spacer, adding material or rewelding a new flange you won't hold 5psi:
This is the problem with this TB/IM and there's no gasket that can seal that:

This was my fix:

Evo Mil Spec TB shaft seals on 74 TB (I didn't bore anything just pressed them in):

Hope this help ;)
Cool. Where did u get the spacer at? U need longer bolts?
Spacer was made by my dad from a piece of aluminum used the 74 gasket as a guide and left some extra material at the problematic areas, gaskets are made out of a thick gasket paper and covered with copper spray a gasket, the length of the bolts depends on the thickness of your spacer as you can see the ones I got are too long but they get the job done.
