Again thanks for the compliments guys.
Update: I ordered the VR4 Rears w/ under spoiler from Trigg and was shipped last Saturday. I'm hoping to get them delivered on my door step tom. am Wed so I can start to test fit and prep for paint. Also able to get the Sikkens paint and reducer the other day too.
Amazing job. I enjoyed seeing the progress pictures as it came together.
I know im a noob but when you say converted drum to disc brake? whats really the difference, since i am looking for some good rotors and brake pads, mine is starting to die on me. i want very good brakes
means converted from the drum brake set up that an I4 comes with to a disc brake set up like the v6 has in the rear. like so

wow looks great bro!! i still need to order my rear splats. I so wish u were local then i wouldn't be multi colored haha
Looking good dude, now you going to have to push the exhaust up just a little.
I wish too so I can help and get more practice ;)
Ray, I'll push the muff up after paint is done. Good thing u noticed it.
So here some new pics after they were primed and sanded. Tom. they are ready for basecoat and clear coat.

I'll have to heat the bottom right of the bumper to push it up to where it should.
the bumper you are putting on looks alot like the bumper u had, minus the add on pieces you have, whats the difference between the two bumpers?
the bottom lip that goes over the muffler is longer so it matches up with the skirts and the underskirts for the rear bumper helps clean it all up to make it flush
Thanks Ivory8g! ;)
oh ok... cause they are very simular... all i know is i cant wait to see the finished product... Is the process eaiser for you this time since you have already done this once before? (painting i mean)
glad to see your getting your monney worth out of your kids tables, loil.. j/k
is that the 98+ vr4 rear you got? so you get to keep your rear bumpuer support.
howdy, my car is a 03 es galant,...do u think your grill could fit on my car, or did u make any modification on your grill when you hung it...

^You have to do modifications but you need jdm heads. Pm me your questions.
Today was a busy day. For no reason my compressor suddenly died on me while spraying 2nd coat of base. I had it replaced w/ a new one. So I completed spraying basecoat and clear this pm. Here are some pics. Ready to install hopefully tom.

nice dude! show pics of the underskirt install!! you have to drill holes no?
oh dang! looking good. were you not able to get that part of the bumper bent back up on the right side?
well you're just poppin this shit out now one after the other. lol
install and pics!!! :)
there's no drillign required, the JDM rear has little holes for hte extensions to fit into, everything bolts and lines up as the OEM would, the extensions go where the cap was by the fender wells and those holes line up perfectly, gotta love the JDM rear, its so smexy
wow really? never knew it lines up so perfectly.....hmm I wonder if all the different styles are all like that? either way I cant wait till its installed dude!
cant wait to see it on there! your doing an awesome job bro!
Ok. Today is the final day of my conversion (started to get cold here already). Beside my sister in law will be coming tonight from Philippines. Here some pics of the VR4 rear installed. I still need to push the bottom right of the bumper up a bit.
