Wow. Chasing that harness issue huh? More power to ya Jared, I don't think I could handle that noise and keep my sanity.

Yeah its out. Found the issue, but im going to make like 200% sure everything is fricken Golden before i put it back in. With that being sad, what is all 5V sensor wise, im assuming crank cam water temp tps is? Anything else?

danm!!]
I think you got them all Jared. Ugh I'm not envious.

It sucked! I tried to not remove the brace to keep my steering column connected... Yeah that didnt work. As soon as the column fell, i went ape shit on the hvac lol. Oh and i guess i decided to supply 12v to the crank and cam sensor....... Fml lol

Yeah that damn column has to come out. I hateeeee pulling the dash omg. Lol and yeahhh power and ground issues always happen on harnesses I swear.

Hooefully the sensors are good.

I'll swap out the CAM sensor tomorrow on the eclipse to make sure it works, and I'll meter the crank and cam voltage just to make sure and the water temp haha. I'm gonna fricken lose it soon. This nice weather is PERFECT for driving!
for some reason i enjoy pulling the galants dash out. maybe i have done it so many time that i know exactly what is needed. i can prob have the entire dash, column and crash bar out in an hour if i had all my tools and an extra hand to help me with the crash bar. the only shitty part was maneuvering the heater box with the crash bar in the way but i think i found a trick for that. just havent done it in a while to remember.
yeah its probably cause ive done it only 3 times so im still not a fan by any means haha
Bought a dash from the yard not too long a ago it takes me 10 minutes or less to pull it. I was very temped to get one this weekend, it was a pristine gray dash, cushions didnt feel dry and no cracks, car had just got there no dust inside even the the doors were gone.

I dont mind pulling the dash, but the heater core f that! I'm going to have extra bolts left over i know it lol

Lmao yeah those damn hoses haha! There is a trick to those things. Until you learn it ugh.

So I have no idea whats going on. I metered the eclipse I get 12VDC to both the crank and cam sensor, and then that means that they output 5VDC square wave to the ecu. I think I'm going to order both a cam sensor and a crank sensor and just change them. I'm getting fuel, I have power to everything correctly and it won't light off. I might slave in some oem coil packs and just try it, even if they are a little longer than evo ones lol. If I change both sensors, and crank it with OEM coil packs and it still doesn't light off, then its gotta be the ecu.
youre running an evo harness/ecu?
Evo ecu with pig tails, galant harness

Yeah my thinking after all of that its got to be a ground or the ecu
I checked all the grounds and they either ground in the bay, or go through the ecu and out a specific sensor ground in the ecu. So its all there. Maybe my timing is that off lol, i cant be that lucky. Race car build=race car problems

hope this helps somewhat. im sure youve got it all figured out as for wiring but hey it doesnt hurt to triple check with a diagram you may have not seen yet.
I'm assuming thats an evo schematic?
