Yes, thats me. I love the Aspire tails, wouldn't change them for the world.
Actually a lower profile tire ALWAYS has a stiffer sidewall, thats just by design that the shorter tire has less flexibility. And yes, it may mean the tire 'squishes' less even when underinflated. I could deflate my 19s and still look not all THAT low on air pressure.
Not to draw out any more pointless discussion, but rather end it about tire OD, I'll refer people to my post regarding overall tire diameters in the corresponding forums. But I'll say no two tires have the same physical OD's. And also camber roll (when the wheels are turned) marginally affects ride height, so in essence, you are both wrong, and both right.
