What did you mean by "no name on the cd"? Were you expecting it to say something specific? The CD is just contains install instructions, user manual and datalogging software.
Forum rollback lost my post about that, thanks for bringing it up again.Quote:

i'm currently looking at pre-made water/oil line kit on Ebay and various websites to see what the fittings i need look like. (gonna go to jegs.com and summitracing.com to get the actual "end" fittings)
as far as the DP, i might buy from here...
http://stores.ebay.com/Performance-Curve
(sorry for the newb question, but does anyone know how many 45, 90 degree bends i need for a custom DP, i assume a 90 and two 45s, though i might be wrong :smt102 )
more to come soon
edit:
nm, found my answer  :lol:Quote:

still have to get the tapped oil pan and gaskets, but i'm pretty close to done in terms of getting the main parts for the turbo. Now it's only the small things (other than the oil pan) and the end fittings. Other than that, i'm considering using the steering wheel gauge pods for my Boost and AFR gauges, while i might put my EGT gauge where the cigarette lighter is, if not then i'll try to put all three in the extra compartment in the radio bezel.
probably the next few items i'll purchase online is the flanges for the DP and the end fittings for the oil lines. i'm so excited how i'm almost done with purchasing the parts. the real obstacle is installing it together, hopefully i can get this all done before we have our turbo/sc race meets.
more to come soon 8)
keep us posted. i'm hoping to be boosted by them too
Drew's new oil pan setup is BALLER!
Why? Because I made it! j/k........................LOL
It came out really nice, im gonna take a pic for you and post it tomorrow Drew. Im gonna try to ship it tomorrow as well.
 nice! can't wait to see the pic. :D
my Hi-Heat Coating can just came in today, gonna take pics of that later on.
Stewi: i kinda made an accident and ordered the end fittings prior to sending you the payment
hopefully i can exchange them for ones that i do need if they are angled the wrong way.
i need a new oil pan and fitting welded. Hook me up too Brian
here's the pics of the hi-heat coating can

most of the auto stores i shop at don't have it, i had to order it from jegs.com.
the fittings for the oil lines will be from jegs.com as well. they have unbelievably fast shipping; i bought the coating on friday
the only thing i need left is the oil catch can (if i need one...) and the circular fitting on the oil inlet, and the gaskets for the turbo, o2 housing, etc... and i'm done with parts. :D
(almost there.....)
Drew a few things.....
Are you using heat wrap then using the paint to paint the heat wrap? The reason I ask is because if you read the fine print, the paint is good for 2000 degrees when used with heat wrap, without the wrap its only good for 1300 degrees like most other high temp paint. There is one other brand, I think maybe MtCavity posted it but im not certain, that has a 2000 degree paint that doesnt need the wrap. I used that same paint you posted without the wrap, and it all came off in a matter of hours. Your EGT's in any type of boost will be in the 1400-1600 range.
Aaron, I didnt weld the fitting to Drew's pan, I used a bulk head fitting as per his request, but you can do it either way. I personally like welding it because you rule out the chance of having a leak, but the bulkhead fitting seals up fine as long as you use the correct sealing rings.
^^
yes, i am using heat wrap, Roman gave me a set a few months ago. I'll be using both, so i assume the protection will be up to that mark. After the install, i'll double check on the EGt to make sure i'm within reasonable temp limits for the coating and wrap.
Ohh you'll definetly be under 2000, I have never gotten it passed 1800, and 1800 was on two back to back no cool down dyno pulls.
