Wow.. looking great! Can't wait to see the finished product
looks great man! makes me miss my white car :(
so the sparco seats are installed, the car has been washed and started to be wetsanded and polished. tomorrow I will finish putting the interior back together and finish the polishing. The window tinter is also coming by tomorrow after hours to tint her up 35% all around.
sick dude i need 2 find a reason 2 go 2 ny so i can stop by n c it b4 u unveil it.. lots of luck man and very nice job
is the dash wrapped or painted black?
its painted
I used SEM Color Coat Landau Black. The gray pieces were done with aerosol cans of SEM color coat in gray, but the dash, door panels, steering wheel, A, B and C pillar trims were all sprayed from a gun in the booth. They only offer a few basic colors that can be ordered by the quart to spray from a gun.
How'd I miss this thread!? Sounds like you're making great progress! I really need to get my ass to a meet. Love what you've done, keep it up! Can't wait to see her in person.
So I brought her home tonight. I am really happy she is back home, its nice to open the garage door and see her sitting there.
Tomorrow im going to adjust the ride height and install the wheels and the rest of the interior. I have to hold off on the brembo's for now, I have all the parts, but not enough time as the wedding is saturday and im gonna spend the better part of tomorrow running around with my friends picking up the tux's and etc. I will post pics tomorrow. Its completely wetsanded and polished and then tomorrow we are going to do a final hand glaze and full detail. I will post pics after that.
nice
can't effin' wait
Ok so its finished. Let me tell you, anyone who plans on getting married, listen up. The day before your wedding will be the most chaotic day of your life up until that point. I spent morning and night working on the car while doing other stuff like getting my tux and haircut and bs stuff all day, then the rehersal dinner and shit. So yea, its finally done. I will take pics tomorrow before the wedding. I must say that my suede wrapping of the door panels sucks a big one. The wrapping itself came out pretty good, but the suede is a little too thick and it caused the handle and switch trim bezels to fit crooked. I mean for me, im fine because its only for the wedding, the car will be off the road soon and the interior will be done by a pro.
Looking great Stewi! I love that grill too.......LOL
