what u doing with the rims u had on be4 these
these look good
he sells them all to other LA members lol
haha jw lookin 4 new rims lol its an addiction. i rele need to save some money first though lol
Panda bear ftw! lol. Likin the new wheels.
the oz ultrleggerra's are a great upgrade; keep those and let the koya riveira's go!
Thx, but Ive always loved those Koya's. They'll be staying and possibly getting them refurbished in the future. Unless I can find a similar style wheel in better condition for less money than the cost of refurbishing them. And The OZ's will be staying as well for my "Daily's", Ive always kept two sets of wheels.
like I said in the other thread, I love the wheels and the minor tire stretch! The car is looking hot
Possible powdercoat the Koya's?????
feelin the wheels bro
i was looking at a white benz earlier today that was riding on a spare and it looked goot from a far lol
LOL, thx man. Its funny bcz my car looks like its on spares from afar too.
Yeah I had the same ideals, and the dilemma is which style I want to go with. Bcz the wheels on my car is really what determines which category it puts my car into. Bcz IMO the the Old style front & sides & JDM Rear have the versatility to go either with the sporty look or VIP-ish look. Depending on how slammed I am too of course.
honestly, don't wast your time with refinishing the koya's; where the OZ's are a nice upgrade on your car, the KOYA's are big minus points... the rest of your car is nicer than the KOYA's and they bring your car a few notches down. if you want mesh 19's w/ lip, get legit multi-piece wheels. like you were saying, the wheels will dictate what direction you go w/ the car... nice wheels will make the car nicer while bunk wheels will make your car, well you get it.
yep, thats why imma wait to buy my next set of wheels for a while. BBS's aren't cheap lol
I hear what your saying, but Ive never been the kind to care much about name brands. For me its more about the quality and design. And for me these Koya's are the design Ive always loved, and the quality (as far as structural integrity) is sound; so Im content. But like I said if I can find some wheels with the same design that are actual 3-piece wheels for a decent price then I'll indulge.
Pic of the engine bay since I swapped to the Outlander Intake Manifold & TB:
