The VR-4 bumpers all had a recessed area for the license plate. The few that I've seen without it were modified. Typically, that section was filled with a piece from that location on a usdm bumper.

Rae, there is a mod for the 8Gb tails, if you have someone heat them up, separate the lens from the housing, you can remove the horizontal red bars in your reverse light area, it will make dat ass look even better
You can actually just reach in there with a pick and get them out.
