Clearing corners: changing the color of your turn signal lights.

i used a butter knife and bent the tip of it, was too lazy to get the L-shaped tool, by hey...to each his own. It's legal to change the color to white, at least in NJ.
Enjoy! :D
i dont understand what to do tho :|
hmmm....try this one as well..

detailed instructions.
thanks that explains it a little more, when u did it was it easier then it looks?
yes it is, i got scared cuz i didn't want the tear the reflector area behind the orange lens, but the lens comes off easy. If you do use a butter knife, bend the very tip, enough so you can grab the lens, then pull back to pry off. The orange lens will break, but that's ok, cuz you won't need it.
Other than that, took me 5 minutes with the second lens (30 minutes for the first cuz i didn't want to break it). Just don't rip/tear the area where the bulb slides in.
I also debagged my car (took the "Mitsubishi" and "DE" letters off the trunk. That you can use some fishing pole wire. I can't remember the name of the stuff that wipes off the glue after you take off the letters, but don't use a razor to get the glue off, i learned the hard way.... :(
i dont mind having those there, its suppose to be
thanks for the light info
ill go to my police to make sure its legal before i gotta replace the whole thing
no prob. i double checked with DMV in NJ and they said it's ok. I passed inspection last week with the badges off and clear corners. Still, always good to double check, just in case you can't.
thanks again, and ill talk to everyone tomorrow for more ideas/help with things id like to work on
i think someone needs to find a way to do the tail lights too and keep them red
no mods today, hopefully tuesday and or possibly friday
tomorrow going to pick up some interrior pannels to paint instead of having the woodgrain, may also try to CLEAR CORNERS as long as i understand how to do it a little better
once again thanks for everyones help, and thanks to the people who read this who have the tuttorials that i have been using/reading
I did the oven technique. Sooooo much easier and you don't have to break the lens so you can put it back if you want.
Then use SilverStarĀ® Signal Lighting gives you the crisp, clean styling of progressive clear lens signal lighting design and produces 100% street legal amber light when lit. Sparkling iridescent blue lamps eliminate the orange glow of amber signal light
