I snickered at people who worry about the rising cost of petrol.
Of course you do
I cut out the mouth of the bumper n oil change after like 6 to 8 months.
got me a non cracked dashboard at the junkyard for $34 and $3 in quarters from underneath the carpet...ftw
34$???? how the hell did you manage that know someone?
I installed a BFB for the front motor mount, and when I say big fricken bolt, I mean 7/8 inch grade 8 bolt lol... I couldn't find a 17 mm diameter bolt to fit in the sleeve of the prothane mount, and I'm getting tired of it walking so... yea.. that shouldn't move lol and did some sanding, and took apart me BOV
is it just me, or is the sleeve of the mount (on the rubber portion) a lot larger than the bolt hole on the metal U bracket? Still the stock rubber mounts.. I haven't compared the Prothane mounts yet. But seriously the front bolt is considerably smaller than the sleeve itself.. when causes a lot of movement that I don't like.
yep^ i dunno what people are using to compensate for that, either a 17 mm bolt or 11/16 inch bolt will fit through there, but I just removed the sleeve entirely, and slide the 7/8 bolt throught the prothane mount, and uses 4 1/8inch washers to space it out. sounds like a lot but its not going to move.
idk the rear mount uses the same size bolt, so it must be just a stupid errr moment for mitsu lol
Painted the mouth of the Galant washed the fuck out of it n helped my brother raise his G back up for inspection. Better pic tomorrow.
junkyard is 50% off this weekend
even when the Pick N Pulls had 50%, they were still charging out the ass for parts! lol
They wanted about $120 I think for the 6G74 (Diamante) Intake manifold and TB, when I bought my entire motor (including those things) for $450 from LKQ lol. They would have been $240 by themselves on a normal day!
Just bought a camera so i can take better pics
