Now just cant wait to get the rest of my stuff from Cali so that i can get it all on the car and then PAINT! lol
Had to drop my transmission to replace my clutch.
Yeah, its not too bad. Nothing im worried about. Just super excited that it is finally here!
My new exhaust is all fitted and tack welded. I just pulled it, having it tig'd up tomorrow, should be back in the car by wednesday.
Cant wait to hear how that will sound.
Well today my tire developed a hernia. Luckily it didnt blow out on me.

Sooo i got a new set all around since i am due soon. They are soo meaty, it gives the car a whole new look. Just need spacers and it will be pure sex. I got Firestone Firehawk GTs. They are amazing best tire i have owned so far. Quite, smooth, and helps loosen up the lack of power steering.

^^I like, looks rather meaty indeed!
Nice looking set of tires. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you had painted wheels?
YES!! they are soo amazing I want to go out and drive the snot out of the car, but due to the recent bout of G accidents, and school thats not happening. Sorry to hear about you happened to your babies Greg, I hope it gets all straightened out for ya.
Nah i have considered painting these, but i am just going to leave them for the time being.
Yeap
Yeah by accident not on purpose. I give him the credit for the sexyness look, though i had the accord lip first :065:

Mine has a chip like that also on it but once winter is over the bumper will be mounted and painted so im not worried about it
So here's hoping I can use them since the jury is out on whether my car is totaled or not, but here's what came for me today:

I went with these because the Diamante has them on there and I love they way it rides, smooth, very quiet, grippy, long lasting, great customer reviews, inexpensive, and they have a manufacturer's road hazard warranty.
How much they run you ima need new tires for my new wheels
Ripped out my passenger seat, rear seat, carpet, a lot of side plastic trim, and other small bits, getting ready for new Kicker system to go in on Wednesday, as well as the slowly changing of interior from tan to black.
My bro bought them from there too for his 13in wheels lol
13's eh? Long as he keep 'em clean. Word to Mike Epps lol!
I like the compound Khumo uses on the majority of their tires. Even the Solus ones I have, ride comfortably and quiet. Now, that's not fair to judge against a low profile tire now, my steelies use a 215/60 R15 tire, and I bet the Diamante has 215/60 R16 tire. 60 profiles are very cushy. lol
Damn I'm good! Is it bad that I know off hand the majority of cars' OEM tire sizes? lol
40 profile, you'll see a bit of flex, but not as much. With the 8G's weight, and new tire size, keep them at 33psi all around. I run that with my GA's 235/45 R17s. Never had a ride issue, and never had a unusual tire wear issue. Keep your alignment in check, and rotate every 7,000 miles, and you'll get the most out of your tires. I'm at 43K with my 235/45 R17 General Exclaim UHPs, longer than most people have gotten with these. Good alignment and on time tire rotation make or breaks good tire life.
Just means you need more poon... Too much free time ;p
Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk 'cause I'm awesome...
Well, I should note that I deal with car tires on a daily basis. And when I used to work at Sears Auto, I sold tires a lot...even though it wasn't my "job" per say. I'm just a damn good salesman. lol
With my g/f, Jess...I don't have to worry about that. :p lol
Just ordered new carpet for my 8G, black of course to go along with the interior color change.
Woo! Just ordered something that I actually need!
installed new brake pads and some drilled/slotted rotors i got from a local member
Got alot done last night. New exhaust is all tig'd up and back on the car, I was under the car installing the exhaust and I got OCD like I normally do and pulled both driveshafts out and re-routed some stuff that wasnt 100% to my liking. Front bumper is off and im gonna start fixing that today, hopefully be dropping it off for paint friday or saturday. Steering column is out of the car right now, my little adapter I made isnt the best idea of terms of safety, so I am extending the column a few inches and ditching the adapter. Coming down to the wire, MOD here I come!!!!
You have the worst car OCD ever + that's awesome when everything is on point.
Glad to hear about your progress.
your gonna paint the whole car Stewi?
