I'm guessing the two motors are similar enough for me to run similar compression numbers. I'm kinda feeling the stage 3 cams from RPW, a little more aggressive, but you wont peg the tach like I will. I'm guessing your going fore 8500 rpm limit. I may try to go higher.Quote:

aftermarket rear sway bar will perform better than anything from the factory. I too have an ST sway bar and I love it. one thing though. the ST sway bar isn't made for hte 8g so there will be modifications needed, unlike the addco and RM racing sway bars that just drop in.Quote:

Project, its not re-enlistment money its deployment money which is better because its tax free! oh and ill probably make like 10K here. woot woot.
Heh, I can't wait to tear into this engine
And, no, I'm not going to break it
Contrary to the amount of money I waste on pistons and whatnot, I actually know what I'm doing :P
oh we know :lol:Quote:

thanks, than i guess i gotta start searching for a better sway bar for my GTZ!Quote:

I'd have no problems makeing less power then a D series honda motor until 4 grand, that would give me a chance to get out of the hole before the motor decided to shread the tires.
is it hard to do a auto to a manuel conversion? I have a 2003 es 2.4... What should I get...
 less power than a d series. thats horrible, i think i have a RC car that'll do that. :lol:Quote:

ok guys here's a little update. just ordered the RPW stage 2 NA cams and valvetrain to compliment the cams. the 10.5:1 CR CP pistons will be ordered on the 15th and then the motor build should commence shortly thereafter. i cant wait this trip to iraq has granted some much desired parts purchasing, here is the list thusfar:
jdm one piece heads
jdm old style vr4 bumper
jdm old style vr4 grille
csf aluminum radiator
rpw stage 2 cams
rpw NA valvetrain
carbing stb
ksport coilovers
fidanza 9lb flywheel
spec stage2 clutch
megan short shifter
so i still have some stuff to order but damn i cant wait to get home so i can work on and drive this "new" car! ill keep everyone posted. and thanks tim for everything bro!
I really want to start working on your car... I'm so close to being where I don't have to worry about mine any more. Once the engine is solid, that's it.
I just took some photos of the K-Sport Coilovers. These are REALLY nice. I'll send them your way.
That is going to be sick BJ!!! Can't wait!
thanks again man. are you sending them to my work email because hotmail is being really slow right now. i cant wait to see them in person. i've also been talking to russ and we've decided on the 10.5:1's and the itb's for dyno, show, race purposes and then the custom intake mani w/the q45 tb for daily driving. it should show good results and will make the 100whp per liter that i really want.
oh god please post these pics! dude these things look fantastic holy shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shit those are fuckin sexy. When you get back I'll have to figure out a time to drive out and see the both of you guys.
we may just have to meet at the factory during back to normal. it would be about half way for the both of us. man both my car and tim's have come a long way since 2006! we are both faster, handle better, and both look better! things are really going to get interesting after the spring time though
