If he did, going from cheap Taiwan stuff to quality KW's....is a HUGE LEAP.

The coilovers cost more than the worth of the car. :(
The KWs are made for the Eclipse
I am currently on Tein SS-Ps but my rear shock is leaking and I wanted to rebuild it. But the Teins are stiffer than the KW's and I wanted something softer for my daily commute so Im giving these a try
lol! And I thought the project was dead... I love it Aaron! Definitely shoot some pics after you install your new suspension. Sucks your auto tranny went out on you, I'm actually really surprised after what I put mine through daily lol.
I think I know why it died. I was low on tranny oil and I did not know it. So I drove around for about 2 years on low oil and it was shifting hard. I thought it was normal for my car, but it was my car telling me it was low on oil.
What KW's are they? v2?
KW's ride so freaking smooth. Every car i have ever been in with them has been amazing. worth the money!
put on a turbo blanket because my bay was getting too hot. It melted my o2 sensor wiring. I also bought a universal Bosch o2 sensor to replace the melted one. The Universal sensor has longer wiring which allowed me to re-route the sensor

old route ran over the turbo and under the radiator hose

Where did you get the blanket!? Also according to my 4g63 builder book, the turbo blanket increases spooling speed.
What turbo r u using and what manifold is this??

WAIT WAIT WAIT! So are those KW's for 3G/8G? Or your 2G?
The 2g fronts are way different those are 8g
The turbo is a PTE 50 trim journal bearing turbo. I think the part # is SC51 or something. Its t3 flange.
The manifold is an ebay manifold for a 2g eclipse. They are a dime a dozen and cheaply made. In fact, I just bought another one to replace this one because I hear an exhaust leak somewhere.
I figured that was an eBay manifold. I'm assuming it held up good so far. I'm shopping for a manifold and trying to figure out what to get. Thanks for the info Aaron.

Ran into a small problem installing the KW's
The front where the sway bar end link mounts are an inch lower than my Teins. Are the Tein mounting points correct or are the KWs? The KWs are pushing my swaybar downward when connected, leading me to think that its the KWs that are wrong.

Rears installed.

FYI, the helper springs are supposed to be fully compressed or close to it. They have no spring rate to them and are only used to keep the main spring seated when the suspension is fully extended. I freaked out a little cuz I was like "why are these springs fully compressed when the car is on the ground!?"

Those look great.
I thought all coil over dampers were shorter, the kw's look full length.

found out my problem. the front has an oval hole on 2 holes that attach to the hub. I guess it is for camber adjustment. I must've not seen it the first time and installed it at full positive camber.
Your sway bar mounting hole looks higher than the teins not lower! Or am I seeing this wrong??
