2003 GTZ with 36k original mileage on engine and tranny....so, NO problems at all for sure!!
P.S. But I have heard that Mitsu has had problems with automatic transmissions' selenoids, specially on 6g, 7g, and 8g V6 cars (because of the torque they produce), 1g diamantes and maybe all eclipses with same trannys. I guess most of the problems then are because of electrical components and not because of bad or poor mechanical workmanship.
2002 I4 ES. 170k. Original Tranny, Original motor. The transmission slips very slightly going into 3rd gear but you can barely even notice it.
94 s, 350,00 on it with the 5 speed, input shaft bearing has been making noise for a while now but still shifts smoth.

137,000 miles original trans, annual fluid changes (once a year) generally shifts smooth in all temperatures.

218k miles, i4, still runs as smooth as can be. :D
