sexy, any shots from further away??
thats hot <3
beautiful work
you don't know how happy I am to see a jdm galant in Winnipeg, we need to get a club going, i'm so sick of all these civics runnin around. i'll be starting my jdm conversion soon, can u help me, cuz i dunno what i'll be doing lol? I live 10 mins away from Tyndall Park lol.
I gotta wonder how do you guys go about an entire JDM conversion just by swapping some lights and a bumper? What about the suspension the JDM has? AWD? Nice interior which the USDM spec made a mess of?
lmao.. owned :(
I didn't mean to come across as harsh lol but I'm trying to figure out how a car magically becomes from a different market cause it has a couple parts from one?
understood bud.. lol... it's just funny how you put it out initially... but hey.. i can guarantee that if USDM looked as nice as the JDM does.... you'd have asians back in japan rockin' fully customized OEM automatic galants... lol
and you've done a good job with the conversion that's for sure - I really like how it turned out. I guess I'm more just picking at how the word 'JDM' gets thrown around so much these days.
Whats the point of makin sidemarkers with ORANGE colour
Over here removing orange parts is the first mod every1s doin :P
But good job anyways :)
How about fix the interior and make a JDM inside aswell ;) In Europe u can get dashboards with LHD and the sportseats and steering wheel from my type. Then u have a VR-4 look inside aswell :)
Obviously I'm not in Europe. I'll consider upgrading the interior in the future. thanks
Not that hard to ship it over :P
In ur sig ur fogs are diffrent from the pics in this thread. Can u choose between the outher lights or inner? In the EDM/JDM fuse box we have free space for turn lights not shure its the same on USDMs though
hmm my side markers didnt come with those black rubbers around them
It's a Stanley side marker not JDM. I bought them from Raz76 last summer.
your car is very nice
awesome. how do those side markers mount to the fender? I either want to tint my current ones or completely repalce them with a set like yours.
Thanks. They are clipped on.
I have the flares primed and sanded over the weekend. Ready for basecoat and clear this coming Saturday.

It's missing one of the rear flares. I left it on the garage.
I'm gonna install them on Saturday. ;)
I've followed your whole build.. and I'm still dumbfounded at the fact that you manage to paint in your garage... lol
Do you really avoid dust? or are you juss that great at water sanding? lol
I closed the garage door when I start to paint. So I was able to manage (90% atleast) the dust from sticking on the things I'm painting on. I only wet sand after primer before base coat to smoothen the surface. I do not polish after clear coat because I'd prefer the surface glossy.
i see.. thats interesting way of lookin at it.
i'm used to the normal prep... sand after primer, paint, clear.. sand and polish... lol
sometimes instead of polishing.. you can sand it, and slap another 2 coats of clear... looks nice...
I prefer to make it quick and simple ;) thanks
you mix your own paint or buy pre-mixed OEM paint?
I worked on my flares yesterday. I have installed the top rubber like plastic of the flares.. here are some pics..

All looks very well done...great job!
looks good. It's pretty crazy you paint all your stuff by yourself in your garage and it looks prrofessional. not to mention, arent you kinda new to painting?? thats nuts!!!
Freakn awesome dude, wish ur lived locally, I'd pay u to do some work for me.
hey bro looks awesome! did you drill holes into your fenders? or just used the 2 10mm sockets which held them up?
Thanks. No drilling, I used double sided tapes and 2 existing bolts under the fender.
The 2 small pieces are pain to install though.
nice
That's looking HOT!
Where do you get your clear from? I am looking for a good clear coat for my carbon fiber and so far everything I have found leaves finger prints except for one, but its a liquid and not a spray so it gets annoying.
I bought the clear from a local paint automotive store. It's also liquid so i have to mixed it w/ activator to harden and spray it by a HVLP gun.
I'd be re-installing the egr visor today..
