are those 272 cams. And love that lip
yeah, i did some research and found out that HKS cams are the closest to stock cams timing, that applies for Delta regrinds too, so I got a deal on them and bought them right away. they are 272/272
BC and other brands require adjustable timing gears and lots of time to get them right
what kind of price did you get? If you ever decide not to run em... Send me a PM
I'm waaay past the limits of the stock cam.
love the front lip
Looks like u sanded the roof down too? What color are u painting that?
nice, you painted the hood, time to do the roof and you're set.
So I got an Evo3 intake manifold and now the mounting flange is actually smaller than the mounting surface on the head and now im stuck with 1g head and manifold that doesnt match.
I'll ask Skrap if he wants to trade his 2g head for mine...:)
You go through more intake manifold than a chic wearing shoes!
Dude that lip looks PHAT !

I went through your whole build thread today and all i have to say is WOW!!!!. Great job!
I do have a question what type of paint did you use for this? i like how it has the OEMish look to it. And how well has it stood up to scratches??

NIce revival!! Its Satin black paint, the cheapest you can find in Walmart. It holds up good.
Now its been a while since my last post in this thread, and i have collected many parts. Here's a lil show off. Most likely engine wont be ready before MOD, but I hope me and Skrap will be able to put everything else on. I have a couple of things I dint take pictures, it will be a teaser for MOD.

Pistons and rods are being shipped to FL to get balanced and put together with the correct clearances. i also bought a 3g crank, but the guy on club3g scammed me and i havent seen the crank
I see you got your Evo wheels on there too. Looks good. Doing the Evo Brembos up front too?
oohhhhhh awesome dude! keep it up!
Ive been thinking about this for some time but never had the means to cut these off the bumper, so I went to the junk yard today armed with some cutting tools.
I got these off a Pontiac Grand Prix (the rear bumper to be more specific).

These seem to be a perfect fit to the rear bumper

Now I have to figure out a way to fit them with the rear mud flaps.
Installation pics to come
you are a very busy man chris. looks good so far. if you make it work with the flaps i will get the cutters ready!!
Also check out my "Rear Adjustable Toe Arms" thread right here. Its for 7g and 8g and its budget build

Theres more to come
Nice man. Are those eagle rods new or used? I remember about 3 years ago they had a big problem with bearing fitment, saying to use 1g bearings with 7bolt rods and they had issues even still. Just make sure yours are spec'd out properly. Thats how my original built evo 7 motor died, threw a rod bearing using those BS 1g bearings in the 7bolt rods like eagle suggested. Eagle has come a long way since then, they manufacturing tolerance and quality control have been very good as of late.
they are brand new, just sitting in the basement where is very humid. I sent the pistons and rods to a machine shop to have them put together within specs.
Nice
Sell me the evo ecu :-)
I'll text you about it tomorrow
ur 7g has come a long way. It's defenty the sexiest 7g on tgc. Sorry galattuner10. Mko ur car has became one of a kind.
wow!your car is amazing.i remember like a year ago,it had different colored parts and such.it came a long way and like what you did to it..very niceeee.props!
Nah, I believe DohcStunr's Galant is far more complete than mine. I still get to do the DOHC swap and ECU upgrades.
Anyway, Thanks guys I appreciate that someone's still looking at my thread and actually paying attention
