Ah spent some time with my car, the laptop, some wifi.........dont think dirty now haha, and the tactrix. Did some latency adjustments to try to bring the stft down, but got frustrated since the ECU hasnt cycled yet, I need to go do some driving.
Inner and outer tie rods...and hopefully alignment soon to fix tire wear
You wanna talk trunk space issues? Lol!

Oem bulbs are the only ones to be trusted when it comes to projectors, mainly optics. See, oem bulbs are more than likely to be straight, where as rebased have a greater chance of being not straight. When it comes to the optics of projectors, the littlest error can produce a bad cut off or a dark spot.
Am I making sense? Lol
Just finished buying the ss lines for the brembo caliper (front) install tomorrow. Hopefully I'm going to have my girlfriend assist me with taking pictures, so I can do a write up.
I know exactly what you mean. No newb here, I was mainly referring to cost. I also went over to hidplanet and did a bit of homework and now they have me thinking twice about aftermarket kits. LoL.
In reference to the example you gave about arc positioning, on the Tahoe/Yukon forum I go on from time to time, one of the members had a bad experience using eBay projectors with a PnP kit, he said the output sucked and posted pictures of drastically affected cut-offs and dark spots.
I replaced the neutral safety switch, hoping it was the fix my car needed to start. No such luck. :sniff:
The way I see it, can't lose HP if you never really had any LoL!
I save on speeding tickets though, with this weight plus 20's I couldnt drive fast if I wanted to. The big wheels do keep my rpm down too, I know it stresses it but that's why I avoid punching as much as possible.
2500 RPM @ 65 mph is where I'm at.
Carl stole the words out my mouth to answer your question Vic, I want OEM quality if I do this retro, which is why I'm questioning if I even want the FX-R's since they are knockoffs, but they have better output than the OEM FX35's and the reflector bowl stands up to the heat with no problems. So I'm gonna stick with them.
You just witnessed me change my mind back and forth in this post about my retro lol!

Btw get the mirrors from uk eBay if u do...cheaper than Japan or hong kong...there too overpriced
I already have a pair had them for months now just never got to painting them I paid $140 I believe or less
Thanks Carlos and it's only going to get better..[/QUOTE]
Cant wait to see that beast again
Thanks Dion, I like those projectors too! Damnit now I might wait and do JDM's again, so many options, not enough $$$!!
Well I found out the best way to get projectors is to go dumpster diving like a fat rat in the body shop dumpsters or have friends who own them, they throw away tons of heads with broken tabs and cracked lenses!!! Also you'll be surprised that different manufactures are using the same projectors..
Found the tut Carlos
