In the thousands of times this has been brought up, I can't believe you've managed to miss it so often. Yes. It'll fit. It's the same as the Eclipse 4g63, but with a variable intake a-la Hondas.
Oh that had my mouth watering. only around $600! and I was willing to pay 1,200- 1,500 for one (actually a trubo charged one). Yeah It would fit.
its non turbo i hope you know
so if you werent planning on turboing it you would have a measly 135hp and 125ftlbs
there is a 4g63 turbo and an non turbo one right soo which will fit on our car?? both ???
dude its the same engine! one has turbo and has some stronger internals and the other is plane ole na
there is a 6bolt and 7bolt version of the 4g63, pretty sure we would need the 7bolt
is the non turbo 4g63 a big difference compared to the 4g64
non turbo 4g63 is a 2.0L DOHC engine....4g64 is 2.4L SOHC

I thought it would be around 160Hp or is that just the DOHC 4G64?
ohh sorry umm performance wise i mean
4g64 2.4L DOHC is 160hp 160ftlbs
throw the 1g/2g 4g63 DOHC head on the 4g64 you will be at ~ 160hp
stock 4g63t is 195hp 203ftlbs...swap in a stock 4g63t + 5spd and you will be runnin mid 14s

i just might have to save up a thou or 2 and do that or should i go for a new car?
dont get rid of the lant...keep it and turbo it
yo, du u have to get the hood with the bump in it to fit the dohc or can the regular hood fit it in there????
u can either get the DOHC hood or cut the metal underneath of ur OEM hood, makes it a little weaker on that side but it works
whoohoo https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...ult/tongue.gif mine came with that hood https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...ault/laugh.gif
Actually we can use 6 or 7 bolt. 7 bolt would be a direct install, and the 6 bolt will need some modifications done to it, like trimming engine mounts, etc. But it fits. Check out Magnus Motorsport for more info on how to install a 6 bolt.Quote:

I believe 4g63T has 8.5:1 CR
Is there a DOHC Carbon fiber hood or will I need to just cut a regular carbon fiber hood.
