As far as I know:
underrated (I4)
leicoolya (V6)
VTEC Killer (Evo Swap)
There was another guy with a green I4 in california, but not sure if he was at TGC, but I think he sold it.
You forgot Stewi
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(devgrp)</div><div class='quotemain'>You forgot Stewi</div>
stewi = vtec killer (his galantforums/club3g name)
me soon hopefully
there are at least 5 more from the back in the days (1999-2001) as well. among them are:
AK1
KWIKSIX
and at least 3 more that i foregot. these cars may or may not be running boost still. old timers, help me out on this roll call plz.
As we found out here in Vegas, that really wasnt AK1's Galant.
DJ Galant had a turbo 8G, no longer running boost though, the car was "stolen"
dang are you guys sure none of them are still running? i remember all those guys

Is it legal in the US to slap a turbo in there?
Here in Sweden you'd have to tear it out once every year for the yearly check-up (stipulated by law, don't know the word for it) ... but if you don't pass on all checks you're not allowed to drive the damn car ... and turbo is a BIG no-no.
that really suxsQuote:

Have the Donald Ely Turbo Kit on order, along with a 3" custom catback to match the setup. I haven't really said anything as I still don't have the kit in hand, but I have been in good communication with Donny's distributor Keith at All Performance Plus - my kit is pretty much ready, but they are still waiting for the turbo from turbonetics, which is obscenely backordered - my distributor is looking for an alternative to the turbonetics turbo so he can get the kit to me as soon as possible.Quote:

Pinoy, if you dont mind me asking, what is the setup's initial cost before installation and tuning? Including the catback....you can PM me if you dont want to publicize, I'll keep it on the DL.
I got the kit for $4000+400 for the catback. Just so you know, the price of the kit is currently $4499+$125 shipping. I still got a few other things up my sleeve :twisted:Quote:

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(underated)</div><div class='quotemain'>thats cool do you have any pics of your setup?</div>
I'll try to take some and post them up soon. I'm taking it to the track for the first time tomorrow so I'll have some 1/4 mile times to post up as well.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(underated)</div><div class='quotemain'>mine? a greddy 24v</div>
has it held up pretty good? I'm starting to piece together my turbo kit setup for an V6 and that fits the bumper awesome.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(underated)</div><div class='quotemain'>mine? a greddy 24v</div>
what are the measurements on that intercooler? did u have to do any cuting on the bumper? and is it blocking the radiator?
haha did i have to hack? i barely have any bumper left lol but its worth it ive got some pics somewhere of what it looks like on the car but no pics of home much i had to cut the bumper i can get some if you like tho

im not sur eof the actual size cuz i got it used a friend of mine got into an accdent and got alot of money so he gave it to me
underated, i was wondering what setup you are using, i know 14b, but what manifold, and what did you do about an o2 housing??? i have a 95 eclipse gsx, so i know a little bit about the dsms, and am looking at building a 2.4l for it over the winter, but i'm kinda thinking about slapping a turbo on my wifes car...thing is slow as hell, but i have no interest in losing the ac though. if you would like you could pm to keep it out of here. thanks
its no problem i'll put it up here
i was running a 14b but now im using a 18g the 14b was just to get things up and running
ive got a 2g gst manifold
stock gst o2 housing (which is why i had to remove the a/c)
450cc's off of the same
and a 1g bov
the greddy intercooler
apexi safc2
custom intercooler piping
custom down pipe and 2.5" exhaust piping with a stock muffler
electronic exhaust cut out
and a denso fuel pump
the pump isnt installed yet since im running really really rich as it is
if you want to keep your ac you have to get a custom o2 housing made or get a manifold that places the turbo closer to the driver side of the engine bay. i plan on having either a log style manifold made or a tubular so i can put my ac back in but as of now it doesnt work anyways so i took it out
let me know if you have any other questions i'd be glad to help
