This is the most SICK and Clean 6'th G Galant I have ever seen! I have no words man, I can just get down on my knees and wishper:
RESPECT!!!!!
With the pictures - this is it. You must post them on some picture post friendly site - like www.cardomain.com and then you just pos links to pictures inthe form like:
http://www.something.com/galant1.jpg
And the pictures are visible here!
Again man, respect, respect.
How much time did you put into this project? How much $$$ did you spend?
It is really AWSOME G-ride!
Good luck with it - from my heart.
damn.....i love widebodies more (if thats possible https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...lt/biggrin.gif )
Great Job Man!!
 Hats off to you. That looks so sick. I love it.
nice ride man, i love the whole DTM style
[quote="Rasko Da Gama"]DAMN!!!!!
hehehe,... thx man,... respect to you too,.. (asians are respectful guys anyway,..hehehee....)
thx for the pic tip..
i spent,... about 5 mid-productive months,... a lot of stress,... argument,.. phonecalls,... hehehehe.... about the $$$ ,... that's relative coz we did have the advantage of labour cost over here, so,... for the parts itself (not including the widebody cos it's custom and will cost damn expensive in US,... it'll be around .... 20K including all other miscellaneous costs, shipping etc. .. once again,.. minus the body conversion and paint)
THAT IS THE SICKEST 6G I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE
i might even dare to say the sickest galant ever
btw, how did u do teh interior? did you paint over the leather?

so how did you do the seats?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Proud Galant Driver)</div><div class='quotemain'>so how did you do the seats?</div>
re-trimmed,.. vinyl, but over here we have the "closest to leather" quality vinyl,.. hehe... which is good 4 me (sometimes too much leather just fucks your nose up, hehe...) it's half the price of leather as well...
Do the back doors still open ? it looks like you bonded the kit over them !
Damn... I can't have enough looking into that beauty https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...lt/biggrin.gif
Once again - nice work on that car.
https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...ault/smile.gif of course they still do... i simply removed the handles from them,... door poppers are on their way to reach Indonesian shores, hehe... talking about that "allow 2 to 6 weeks shipping time for international orders" thing,... hwehehehe...Quote:

thx a million man,...
btw, how 'bout your new ride?! y'know sumthin' ?! my wastegate was bust last saturday night,... and the boost spiked to 1,2 bar !!! man,.. thank god i've tuned the fuel and ignition up to 2 bars of boost,.. if not,... (the horror....)
but it was a nice experience,... coz i was launching beside a fully tricked-out honda (turbocharged too) which makes 200+ hp as well,... i said earlier i was only makin 225 hp at best with 0.5 bar (when the wastegate vents the excess boost away),... man we all got shocked by my tyres creating smog thicker than industrial exhaust pipes,... and it screech as loud as hell (imagine how a 245 wide spinning at 4500 rpm on 1st gear,...)
i won though,.. considering the fact that my car created nearly 300 hp that night,... hehehe... now i will check that wastegate for sure,... or maybe get some forged pistons and rods so i can keep using that extra boost for good,...
cheers
here's how that civic jockey had probably looked like at that time:

i dont like it....but it is the best looking 6G i have seen. it looks wayy to stubby. but thats my 2cents, and my thoughts arent worth anything.
but nice job on the car.
btw, i love that pic in your avatar, thats the best shot of the car.
Just wondering, that front you got on your car.. what is it, what car it is from !?
It is custom made to fit his car... I still think that's the sicest G-Ride I've ever seen https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...lt/biggrin.gif
Custom made from the start.. okey... Yeah, I agree, it's the most awsome galant I'we seen, this far
I am pretty sure that he said it was custom made for him in Bali (where he lives)
That is way sick. Get some of your money back and make a kit.
ok its a custom kit but thew moulds already been made, i want..... no no NEED that kit
There must be a way for us to order this kit https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...lt/biggrin.gif :? https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...lt/biggrin.gif :?

why order the kit when you can buy the whole car - last time i spoke to him he was thinking of selling it
Well that doesn't help any of us here in the US.
cars can be imported. why not?
Too much money. I'd rather the kit.
)hoi ppl,.. I'm back, hehe....
man this forum was gone for a while, so I haven't seen you guys since Jan,...
well, guess what?! I'm not using the kit anymore,... car is in the process of re-make now. I'm going subtle this time since I want to go to the strip every now and then,...
so how's life goin' for you guys?!
regarding to kits,... maybe I can help you out w/ something a bit universal. the guy I'm working now to build my car is quite open to create some spares while we're at it,... tryin' out hand-lain carbon manufacturing currently on spoiler lips, canards, and mirrors now,... when the result is smooth already,... maybe we'll do hoods,... then, maybe we can start trading https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...ault/smile.gif (carbon is lighter than glass, right?! so less shipping cost
Well Crazy, I guess theres nothing better than the hobby you got.
Remember that quote you got me to ship those panels? well most of the weight would have been the front bar, right. I have a new front on my car, you can see some pics somewhere here, I am still looking out for the sides and the rear bar. Maybe the cost of shipping that is much much less? what do you reckon.

well, the rae bumper would still be heavy,... side skirts, door-skin, "and an over fender set" are not so heavy.
just wait 'till mine is done,.. take a look at it,.. and if you're interested, we'll make one for you (hint: the new body will be subtle, so I think almost every 6G owner will be possible to use without cutting or altering the originals, just few holes for the door-skin and side-skirt)
allow 1.5-2 months until the car is done (mine). I currently have some orders (local) for subtle kits for 7G, I'll take some pics tomorrow afternoon (need to wash the car first, it's my dad's daily driver now, hehe..)
sounds good - i cant wait.
BTW i might be in Bali at christmas, just a stopover on the way to JKT, but possibilities are endless!
you can fly to bali from jkt anytime,.. and the ticket price starts from 40 AUD these days https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...ault/smile.gifQuote:

unfortunately I don,t (yet),... actually,.. never thought of it before,.. hehe.... but maybe it'd be fun once I know how to, hahaha...Quote:
