The 8g has seats that are different than most car seats. Instead of having a flat center area surrounded by bolsters on the sides the seat bottom has a raised area that starts mid thigh and has no real bolsters. Does this bug anyone else? Has anyone switched their seat to something else? I sat in a 3g Eclipse and it's seat had a normal bottom with bolsters. I may try to find a seat from an Eclipse since it may bolt up.
the front passenger seat in the 8g seems to be pretty comfy. my gf would sit in it and like 10 minutes later shed be bundled into a ball asleep. one day i decided to try it out and yea 10 minutes later i was asleep too.
the drivers side front seat though, i htink needs improvement lol

legroom is an issue for most members here if my memory serves me right, my seat seems to conform to me pretty well, my 10 hour drives from Maine to NY and vice versa never causes me pain afterwards... which isnt the case sitting in the backseat of most cars or front seat

+2. The passenger's seat is way more comfy. Now the back......is really really comfortable. I think the person who I had install the leather on them put another type of padding in the back. I don't remember it being that comfy.
While we are at the topic of seats, has anyone replaced his driver seat with a bucket seat (say, Recaro or Sparco)? If so, how much did it cost? Of course, POST PICS too!
I am already sliding around at moderate cornering speeds. It gets really annoying!

how much were they and did they come with sliders and brackets?
i can't stand the way the cloth 8g seats look. they feel ok, a little too wide, but it's a sedan. the 7g ones are cool if you like hard seats
well i got them extremely discounted through my sponsor but they are hard to find which is the bigger problem i think you can find them for about 500 a seat and you could prob find knock offs for cheaper.. not sure but these seats came with sliders but no brackets so i had custom ones made... any more questions let me know...

no no no... dont miss understand 500 a seat thats un imported getting them here was a bitch and expensive but the actual seat is between 500-700 depending on who your dealing with... my bro was sent over to japan for work and he was able to get them for me but everything said and done your talking a couple grand at least... and a shit long wait... You got swap meet Ralliart seats. The same ones that ARE on Ebay. They just stitch the logo on a universal seat.
they have to be better first of all they are from japan, and i have seen the ones on ebay the logo looks totally different....

imo the galant seat suck... after numerous hours of driving my back usually gives me trouble. anyone ever sat in a 93-97 altima ? ....now those seats are already much better.

man the company u got those "ralliart" seats could of saved themselves alot of headaches and just gotten them on ebay.. for like 70 bux a pair...hell they even sell"ralliart" steering wheels for like 20 bux..even oil caps and radiator caps..i ordered myslef an oil cap..cost me like 3 bux,, it says made in japan,,,,no big deal...im saving up for a set of BRIDEs or RECAROs..to switch out the 8g ones. u have to be careful they make knock offs evereywhere ..ive seen like 4 pairs of those RALLIART seats in person here, and most of the people that have em just said they got em on ebay .. and they look identical to the ones u posted... companies tell people crap all the time...dont mean to burst your bubble ,but they prolly told u that they were imported from japan,blah blah blah,,and it took them half a year to get here because they are so rare...etc..they prolly just told u that to make u feel happy and giggly inside...ive heard that shit so much from companies,its ridiculous,,and most of the time its bullshit.. anyways,,welcome to tgc https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...lt/biggrin.gif
