My brother-in-law bought me some JDM Headlights from the Philippines. They should look great on my 94. I can't wait for them to arrive. Check them out.

fun, btw, u gotta cut a bit to install those...teh top of the crashbar support,
Yes, I am aware of that. This light install will be the final step. I have to paint my bumper and fenders and hood before I put them back on. I will have all those pieces off to ensure a snug fit. :D
I didn't have to cut anything to install my JDM heads into my 7g, but I have the JDM bumper support that slides into where the crash bar was 8)Quote:

yeah.
HID's plus the 2piece looks pretty amazing.
its a very precise beam
i've never been flashed cause someone thought i had my brights on.
6000k is probably the best HID kelvin range...but I would suggest not to go anything higher than 8000k. I am planning on running HID's on my 7g too just waiting on getting the right JDM lights. I am running 6000k HID's on my Galant VR4 and they are plenty bright and wouldn't see why anyone would go brighter. I will post pics of it later.Quote:

Yeah my 6G had glass headlights and with some good H4 bulbs they were bright and produced a good beam. My 7G is just not the same. Even my 4G with semi-sealed beams is better!

Yeah I have 6000K on my USDMs and they are much brighter tahn regular bulbs (of course) so whenever I get JDMs or World Specs I can only imagine how much better that will look. Go for the 6000's, any higher Kelvin the light output is actually less...dimmer than what you want
anything less than retrofits are just that, less
so go ahead and put some color modded TSX projectors in thsoe housings
They look pretty damn good :D
Just one thing, are my eyes playin tricks on me, or is one headlight got the black housing and the other have silver ?
if you've ever opened up a set of worldspec(and idk about the jdm)
the bezzle inside is like a dark gunmetal/bronze color
its not actually black.
i opened my housings up on my car. then painted the bezzle matte black.
it turned out quite well.
looks 10x better by comparison.
Hmmmm...... must just be how the light is hitting them, I think mine have the same colouring to them. But I'll be getting that pained the same colour as the car soon :D
All good :)
My lights arrived today. I am just checking out the lights. I am going to work with them this weekend. I don't plan on HIDs. I am thinking more on Syvania Silverstar Bulbs. I haven't gotten into it just yet. Do I need a JDM harness? Is there a sure fire way to Maguiver these lights into working? What all do I have to do?
for as much as you spend on silverstars.....
might as well spend a few bucks more....
75 shipped to be exact. for a set of HID's
From where? I want that price!!!Quote:

anybody has hookups on those headlights? i wish i can go back to PI. anyway, is there any place other than ebay?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-X...em230215621182
every one in my family has been running these for a while.
plus my girlfriend,
and her best friend.
and me.
Geez HIDS were like $170 at the cheapest just this summer...prices continue to drop. 8)
did anyone else noticed all the misspells within that ebay ad?
Decided to post an update to my JDM light install. The lights are in and they look great. Props to G-Spot for helping me with this. :D I used Silver Star bulbs. They are pretty darn bright.
