only a few hundred of these were made... only 4 stores in the world got them (3 in the US 1 in asia) and the camp out was 5 days and they sold out in less than 1 hour... i did NOT camp out, but i had to compensate the person that did. the black AWAY version which has the FINALS MVP stats and highlights in gold comes out tomorrow morning at the same 4 stores... i might have to get those too...
I happily remember the Pistons beating the Lakers in the NBA Finals in the late 80s.

well i'm not gonna ever ball in these since they're too expensive and rare; i have a few "normal" pairs of NIKE AIR's for that. although pro and college players that have worn KOBE ZOOM IV's have praised them for being super light and low to the court... and they all had their ankles taped for games and practice, so high tops were mostly redundant.Quote:

very serious,the lakers are gonna be good but i think the spurs can take them in a seven game series,if manu is healthy...jeffersons add is gonna suprise some people i think..lakers will prolly win the west regular season,artest is gonna help but watching him for my team last yr,he tends to shoot the team outta the game,and i wouldnt be suprised if he and kobe get in a scuffle argument etc during the season..if they play the celts in the finals that series will be tight,Quote:

KOBE never actually wore these in a game as the version being released are "FINALS MVP" and the gold scribbles are stats only from the finals series (which was not over yet duh!), the tongue has MVP and 4 stars (one for each championship) instead of the KOBE logo. notice the differences from the pair he is wearing and the released version... but they are even more rare than the "FINALS HOME" version that i picked up.
