Just a dumb question, I think.
I upgraded to these eclipse wheels, so do I need any kind of hub centric rings? Or are the wheels just flat perfect fit to the 2000 Galant ES? (I am talking about the bore size of course).

You don't need any hub centric rings. All mitsu wheels have the same bore size

those wheels are made to be lugcentric so bore size doesn't really matter as long as the fit over the hub.
did you get hit on the left quarter panel? why is the color shade different?
i was looking for those wheels a while ago and couldnt find them anywhere they look so good on galants.

To all with compliments, thank you! It really is a satisfaction to try to and keep the car clean over time. I drive carefully, a lot.
4g63lover: Yeah, we got hit in the back early this year, but was an opportunity to get the JDM tailights! (Note: Triggermauve is the dude to find for that)
And, yeah, as a daily and as everything else, I am so glad I have an 8G. Very practical. Got 122k miles so far and still strong.
And the question about the wheels, just thought I should ask, just in case. I have learned the hard way to never assume anything. You never know.
Better look stupid for a minute, and keep the car A-Okay, than to look cool for a while but trashing the G.

Guys, I need some information please:
The tires I mounted are Yokohama YK520 225/45/17.
1. What is the best tire air pressure I should be doing for the front pair and the back pair?
2. What would be the Mitsubishi part number for these wheels anyway?
3. What is the Mitsubishi color code for these stock wheels?
tire pressure should be listed on the tire itself..
32f 29r its on your door jam
No matter what wheels or tires you put on there, the pressure stays specific to the vehicle.. 29F-32R should always be your pressure no matter what.
OKay, I was not completely sure about that. I did open my door before I posted. But it has only 15" tires and pressures for these.
No info on the other two questions?

Well, its supposed to be 32F/29R. However, a reputable wheel and tire guy in my area said to always add more air when going to a thinner tire and he pumped my tires to maybe 40 in the front. I compromised and pump my tires at 37F/34R for no scientific reason at all.
i have 235/35zr19 and just keep them at around 35-40psi at all 4.

There a lot a good information here. We certainly have a lot of misconceptions, and I am glad we can clear some out.
I was told that more air than spec, by 5-7 PSI more = fuel savings, with some minor compromising of safety/grip.
Stock numbers are indeed 32 front, 29 back, (as mentioned before by others) just because the front holds more weight and needs extra pressure on braking.
I'm gonna do 37F/34R I think.

So 37 PSI sounds pretty OK.
