Did anyone swap a 4G64 DOHC into a 9G? I picked up a 2009 for $400 with 168K as my daily and been driving it for 2 months. I like the car it's my 2nd 9th Gen, I had a 2008 Ralliart a couple of years back and miss that power. Mitsubishi parts are so cheap, I'm thinking about buying a used core motor strip it down and rebuild and throw on a DOHC from a Sonata. I'm sure it can fit the engine bay, wiring maybe a little difficult but I think everything will fit.
