Splash shield, key programming, roof panel.

Greetings, new member. Have a 2005 Galant GTS and have some general questions.

1) Broke passenger engine splash shield. Found the individual left and right ones, but also stumbled on this one piece version:

Will this work, or should I go with the separate piece ones? Also, while looking under there, it seemed the transmission pan uses a shield too, or am I in error?

2) I was reading in the manual that if you have two working programmed keys, you can program a third one yourself. So is this only a 3 key maximum thing, or can I myself program unlimited keys?

3) Lastly I'm gonna get the car repainted (clearcoat peeling on black paint), and the roof metal has rusted on the windshield edge. I'm assuming the painter will need to replace the entire roof panel? If so, recommend anyplaces for a deal? Most panels I see run $350+
