damn i was hoping they did. there is away to setup speed density using the fuel temp sensor instead for wiring in the gm intake sensor. oh well time to find an evo fuel temp sensor.
what do you mean, you would use the fuel temp sensor wiring harness to connect to the intake temp sensor and then just correct the input in the tune?
there is away to use the fuel temp sensor as a reference for intake temp in the speed density calculations. Its more like an advanced Alpha N setup using fuel temp and pressure to find airmass. its one of the options in v7

Or you could just buy a GM IAT sensor and pigtail...

yes everyone knows abut the gm iat sensor but if you can use something that is already in the car it makes it that much less of a headache to install
True it would be easier, but really you are looking at a 2 wire connection into the existing MAF wiring in the harness, and then drilling a hole, grommet...and you are set. For less then $30 it's not much more work and is fairly easy.
If you using the evo ecu. Yes you will have a CEL for fuel temp sensor. The G dont have the sensor. You could add one and re-pin the ecu. Or you just could dissable the code on the ECU. You dont need the sensor. Also you dont need speed density. Just use the evo 399 maf and retune your injector and maf. Speed density could have problem along the way. The stock evo maf is very very powerful when it comes to tune, and you could add a large cam with MAF, SD will cause problems.
I have a fuel temp sensor in the pumpmp housing I know because I am dealing w p0183 code rn after installing an aftermarket fuel pump assembly. the oem temp sensor read about 2 ohm at 75 deg ambient temp the aftermarket was around 1 ohm. shit keeps trippin codes. is therre a relearn maybe to account for the different spec on the sensor I have a second aftermarket pump (same brand arrived w/cracked housing) and the res on that temp sensor is 1 ohm as well. I cant imagine this companies pumps would be tripping codes and not much mention online about it. but here I am
