Got it, installed it in about a hour, including a run to kragen for a 1/2 drive extension, lowered 0-60 time by .8 of a second to 7.2 sec with CAI/Exhaust, im happy, get it guys!! Comes with the belt and pulley, that's all you need.

how did u figure those specs? did u go to the track or is that whats on the label?? .8 is alot to shave off going 0-60 even wit intake n exhaust...(going .8 less in 0-60 is not the same as going .8 less in a quarter mile wich seems more reasonable wit ur specs) just curious...congrats on being the first though on a 9g :-P

Intake + Exhaust + Pulley = 10 WHP or so I'd guess, then that's feasible.
You guy's need to do a bit more research on the 2.4L MIVEC engine, pulley alone is 6-7 whp, and 10ft lbs. of torque. Go look at the dyno sheets RRE has put together on this pulley.Quote:

Part Added to Official Aftermarket Sticky... is there anything we should know about, was it a direct bolt on?
Direct bolt on, it seriouslly does not take much effort at all, the hardest part is taking off the splash guard, there is a bolt all the way up in the engine bay that took me about 5min to get out. But other than that, very easy mod, just make sure you route the belt properly. Goodluck to anyone who buys the pulley, it's worth it! :DQuote:

Back from the track.. lowest time I ran was a 17sec flat 1/4.... 1 reason though, 4 spd automatic. The 9G's transmission has weird gear ratios, a 3rd gear that goes from 65 to 110.... still ran a newer prelude type-sh though, he timed at 17.5, probably another automatic, and got close to a Type-R Integra that didn't know how to drive, he ran a 16.6

hmmmm...ur 0-60 doesnt match ur quarter mile time. if u say ur going 0-60 in 7.2 u should be around mid 15's to low 15's ... which means ur keeping up wit the v6 9g...stock 9g i4's i believe are mid 17's... so u made a nice improvement at least... didnt mean to be a dick, it just bugs me when i hear wrong info....
btw no way in hell ur gonna get 190 whp from an xrs with everyday bolt ons, that means what its running what 230-40hp??? and u beat him...ur friends car probably has 190hp not 190whp. the ecu is not gonna give 30 something hp unless u have serious mods to back it up...
Yeah I know a 7.2sec 0-60 should have a mid 15sec 1/4 time but you need to think about the gearing on my car, it's a 4spd automatic, do you know how long the 3rd gear on my car is? it goes from 65 to 110mph, RRM timed a stock 5spd ralliart at 15.9 in the 1/4, same engine as the 9G, just 300lbs lighter. Think about it, my 60ft time is VERY good, 2.42seconds, a M series BMW that ran a 14.5 had a 60ft time of 2.55seconds. Fact is, after 2nd gear, my car is pretty gutless, and from the video of me racing the XRS, you will noticed that after 2nd gear, I can't keep up. Before you say my 0-60 time is bullshit, you need to factor in my transmission and gear ratios. I'll ask him for his dyno sheet next time I see him, and I didn't say I beat a 190whp XRS, just kept up with him ;-)Quote:

The 'official' ratings of our cars are screwed up...they rated our 9G's at a 15.6/15.7 and I ran a 15.3 on a 100 degree weather day with humidity out the ass (Corrected it came out to a 14.9 using NHRA Calculator, but I don't race NHRA it just basically let's you know what your car CAN run if you do it in good conditions).
I'm going back to the track in the winter time so I can break it into 14's..
Did you flat foot it or stall it out? I got the best time with stalling it out, leaving traction control on and manually shifting it at red line with the sportronic...
What do you mean by stalling it out? I don't have the option of turning traction control on/off, my car doesn't have it. I did manually shift at redline with the gear selector though, for some weird reason, I don't think my car performs the best when I just stomp the accelerator peddle to the floor, which I was doing. I've found that it accelerates better when I gradually press the accelerator peddle down with the RPM's as they increase.Quote:
