Hey guys I have an 04 Galant ES and when I turn the car into the ON position without starting the engine I hear a clicking noise about 8 times repeatedly. Anyone know what could cause this? Also my dome lights flicker when my car is off but it stops when the car is fully on. They are led bulbs.
Possibly a low battery. Have it tested

Brand new battery this problem has been happening for a while now
Give the starter solenoid a couple light taps, could be sticking. Don't beat it but firm light taps. Clicking if under the hood usually is signal of a weak solenoid

Ive noticed a lot of mitsu vehicles do they same thing when you turn them on like that
Could it be the IAC clicking? and if i remember correctly my friend that put LEDs throughout his 9G had to put resistors in as well because his did the same thing you are describing.
You could be on to something. The mitsu's ive seen do it have all had aftermarket hids installed
