<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Stewi)</div><div class='quotemain'><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Donovan)</div><div class='quotemain'>Hm..Bryan you've done the rear brake disc conversion right.</div>
nah not yet, im being lazy. Its really not hard, and the parts are only like $250. Bryant aka Xska125 did the rear disc conversion and the Brembo front brakes. and fyi i spell my name Brian, its all good tho, everyone mispells it.</div>
With all that Hp..which equals all that speed hehe , stop being lazy and go ahead with the rear disc conversion , yeah Iknow how about bryant's conversion I guess you guys keep in touch up in Ny ? Sorry about the name mispell.
-
The rear brakes only do about 20% of the stopping, its all on the front brakes. Unfortunately, I cannot do the EVO brakes up front because I need to run 15" wheels at the track, im gonna use 2nd Gen Eclipse twin piston calipers in the front, slotted rotors, and Hawk pads.
-
Coo I hear alot about hawk pads , how do they compare to brembo?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Darkkend)</div><div class='quotemain'>you werent kidding when you said the power is in your top end, for a second i couldnt tell when 3rd ended.</div>
that pull was done to 3rd, so it goes into 2nd when you hear my exhaust backfire...lol...then heavy into the throttle in 2nd, hear the BOV, then 3rd all the way to redline and thats over. 3rd gear goes to about 110-118, depending on what tire I run. 4th, All I can say is 4th goes to at least 145+

Does my heart good to see that stuff.

ok ok, you've made up my mind. I'm gonna stop toying with the idea of swaping a 4g63t and go ahead and "gid 'er done." Your car is hot, and props on those runs. Now i know where to set my goals.
<span style='color:red'>Vader: Impressive... Most Impressive!</span>

Blue Ice what do you have?
-
7g, and a bunch of parts sitting in my garage and on order. I have all the parts to do the 5spd swap except the clutch. just trying to make up my mind of which one to go with, but even more so just procrastination on tearing my car apart during the summer. I've been ordering parts to turbo my 4g64, but if i did that i would be selling myself short on my ultimate dream, which i to do the 4g63t swap. Plus i just ran into a mechanic that says he swaps engines every day. Said he could hook me up on prices.
-
I'd go with the 4g63t swap.. like anyone else would say..Its a stronger engine..or it an withstand more I should say. Also very easy to find.

God damnnn that is the most beautiful sound

Those run were before the Dyno right?
-
runs were the day after the dyno. The runs were not good. I should have been pulling between 12.9 and 13.2 based on my MPH. I had crazy turbo lag. My 60ft time was 2.7 on the run when i went 13.6. My 60ft time realistically should be 2.0, which would make my 1/4 mile time 12.9. With slicks my 60ft should be about 1.8. The 2nd 1/4 mile run sucked, I had a better launch 2.3 60ft, but i missed 2nd and slow shifted 3rd. After I missed 2nd I wasnt concerned about 3rd because I knew the time was slower because I missed a gear.
