03 2.4L - auto to manual conversion

My account can't post in the 8g technical section, so I hope this is the correct forum.

Did lots of searching, and I hope i pieced a lot of this together properly. Tons of links were dead from the original guides

2003 galant transmission swap parts list

all from a 3g eclipse - 01-05

5 speed manual transmission
clutch pedals
master cylinder
slave cylinder
shifter assemply
flywheel
clutch
clutch lines
manual trans mount

transmission bolts from a ???


to remove CEL on 2003 galant

flash the ECU with a Tactrix cable and ECUFlash and simply disable the immobilizer on our ECUs rather than buying another one that has already been disabled.

CONNECT PIN 5(BLK/YEL) + 8(BLK/BLU) TO START THE CAR

CONNECT PIN 7(RED/GRN) + 6(RED/BLU) TO TRIGGER THE REVERSE LIGHTS
For the reverse lights, you just need to connect your reverse solenoid (on your transmission) to the correct two pins on the B-39 connector

Use the 2pin connector on top of the tranny to connect the 6+7 that should be your reverse gear selenoid.

only 02-03 models need a full speed sensor harness to wire into the cluster.

Run two new wires into the cabin. since your using the m/t, you splice those two wires into the speedo sensor on the tranny. the other two wires you splice into the main connector that's under the dash (it's connector C-17-look in the manual to locate it) Pins are 3 and 4.



Anything else I'm missing? All of that look correct?
