Front Exhaust pipe heatshield noise

I hear a weird noise coming from underneath the car and it is louder after a cold start. I knew it was the heatshield so I took the car to the dealership. They confirmed it was the front heatshield. So i ask for warranty work and was told that I am not covered because my car is over 5 yrs. old. Then I showed the service advisor the TSB regarding the front heatshield. He played dumb, like he doesn't know anything about it. Finally he booked me an appointment to fix the heatshield.
