New axle seals still leaking

I picked up a used 2002 Galant it had sat for a while before I bought it. I noticed there was a slow leak from one of the axle seals and ripped boots on both cv joints. I bought new axles and seal installed all and it's leaking even worse now. anybody know where the transmission case vents are located ( possibly snap a pic for me? please :)) and whether or not they could be clogged from sitting for a long time? I just cant think of a reason this would happen twice. The guy who sold me the car says trans leaks were never an issue before taking the car off the road.

What makes me think its a clogged vent the leak isn't steady it comes on pretty bad the slows to a drip. Makes me think the case is building up pressure then blowing through the seal.
