Yes, unless you have an LSD you will do fabulous on wheel burnouts. As for which one, I'm assuming the one that has less traction will always spin...not always the same though.
How you do do a burnout with an automatic?

Pull the e-break.
pretty sure on mitsu open diffs, the power is not going to be equally devided. power should be biased to the passenger wheel. if the passenger wheel slips, then more power is sent to that wheel even if the drivers side still has some traction. if the drivers side slips, then more power is going to be sent to the drivers side.
its really lame that it works that way.
doesn't even sound logical in its design.
I know on 7gs the drive wheel is the passenger. Revved to 3kish and dumped the clutch and smoke poured from the passenger, and not the driverside wheel.
I know its the same for 1g/2g as well, but no clue on 8g/3g.

Are you describing the TCS for mitsus? I believe the 99 year models didnt come with it (unless your describing the behavior of an open diff)...With my bald tires, I spin my tires everytime I take a right turn.
nah just talking about behavior of an open diff.
traction control on mitsus works by over rideing your throttle input by closing the throttle enough to get the proper wheel speed for the rpm. Like on my dad's diamnte. and even though they came up with an expensive and bulky way of giving traction control, they could have just installed a lsd. would have given better traction and help through the twisties.
7Gs spin their passenger side, 8Gs spin the driver side (mirrored engine bay). sometimes you can get lucky if you dump enough power to the wheels both tires will just smoke
if you're interested, two 7Gs spinning both tires the whole time:

After seeing that driving it reminds me of something Maz said to me "Friends don't let friends apex late."
my passenger tire spins more..

Pull the e-break.</div>
mine's not an e-brake, it's a parking brake... lol so no stopping power there...i can pull it going 30mph... 60mph... hell, even 10mph... and almost no stopping power, lol, but put me on a hill in neutral and i'll put the "e"-brake on, and i won't budge https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...ault/laugh.gif
elaborate on the e-brake burnout https://www.thegalantcenter.org/styl...ault/laugh.gif

With a simple $50 camera mount. It uses suction cups, and can be mounted anywhere on the car.
what about on your header?

we use zip ties for that.....
