i got the blue and used the boomslang harness and also had issues with tuning and getting clean signals. i actually had to rewire the boomslang harness to get the signal clarity that i needed to tune accurately. make sure you do a little more research as i know that boomslang is new at making this harness for us. i dont think i ran into as much trouble as you because i dont have coil packs but during the rewire i accidentally put an injector ground on the crank positioning sensor and boy did it not like that shit. rewired it again and it was perfect and has been since march. if you need help get ahold of warmandscsi as he and i collaborate a bunch when it comes to the emanage. good luck bro
It's a known issue that the E-Manage blows coilpacks on the 4G64. The Club3G guys found this out years ago. I don't think there is any solution, and there isn't going to be any support for the fed spec cars in EcuFlash in the near future.
isnt there a way to just get a Cali spec ECU and have it flashed and put it in the fed spec car?
Isn't the wiring different? It is on the V6 Galants.
i have the blue, and knock on wood i havnt blown any packs yet..been about 3,400 miles.
and stewi, yea that what flashbluers told me to do, just swap out my ecu for one which is compatable to be flashed
the problem with the ecu swap is the keys and imoblizer. is there a galant ecu i can use?
there is an ignition signal adapter #2 that is supposed to help with that -- i have the adapter in and ive been running emanage blue for like 8 months with no issues... It would be to ur benefit to get that flashable one because if ur turbo or turboing u can enter open loop earlier or stay in open so u get the right fuel flow on boost.. other it will knock u up to 14 afr untill 78 or so % tp
